Stopped by Bangkok Square for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! I got the lunch special Pad See Ew with tofu, and it came out hot, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The noodles and veggies had great texture, and the sauce had a nice slightly sweet flavor though I think it could’ve used just a touch more salt or chili oil to balance it out. Slightly oily overall, but not enough to be a dealbreaker.
I swapped the soup for double egg rolls and was glad I did since they were super crispy and satisfying. Service was fast even though it was fairly busy for lunch, and the pricing for the lunch special was great. I’d definitely come back for another lunch here!

The service was quite slow when we visited although the place was somewhat busy. We visited their other location on archer road a while back and weren’t impressed at all, and I really wanted to like this one, since we love Thai food! But we were less than impressed with the food itself. Pad Thai (two of my kids got it as they love pad Thai and have had it many times, including authentic one in Thailand several times) both with beef and chicken had a really weird taste and mostly just overcooked noodles, there were not many of the other toppings at all. My husband and I got pad eggplant with extra ginger (that they didn’t tell us in advance that they would charge extra $2/plate for extra ginger seasoning, but ok) and there was very little of the actual eggplant or the Beef (mostly the “extra ginger” on the plate as you can see in the picture). Thai iced tea was good. They also brought us Thai doughnuts at the end since we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday. Those were pretty good. The worst part was the soup – slimy clear liquid with a few leaves of spinach that were swimming in there, and the fact that they charged us for a 5th meal that we didn’t order but after I pointed it out, they took it off. So if you decide to go, check your receipt carefully. I wouldn’t really recommend this restaurant or the one on archer road. They are both below average.

I visited this restaurant today at 5:00pm. The fried whole red snapper on the menu is not red snapper it is either tilapia or something else. However they charged $30.00 “market price” for red snapper. I informed the manager that it was either tilapia or something else. She apologized and said it was Napa. I think she was trying to say Tilapia. I advise anyone to look at the red snapper before it is cooked for you to ensure they have red snapper to serve. Otherwise you will pay an expensive price for a cheap fish like Tilapia instead of a quality fish like red snapper.

We were greeted upon entry and service was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Lunch was good and fresh we will return. Husband ordered Thai tea and duck which he enjoyed. I ordered soft shell crab and hot sweet chili sauce, which was tasty; however, I would not order this again as $17.95 was too much for this as the crab was very small. Many other things on menu to try on next visit. The soup and egg rolls delicious as well.

Sooo delicious! I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve had a wonderful experience every visit. The food is always fresh and super yummy!!!! I especially love their curries, heart shaped rice, and the crunchy banana with coconut ice cream dessert.

I like Pad Thai and they serve the best I’ve had in a while. Service was very friendly and cheerful. The atmosphere was just right for conversation with our tablemates. We dined on a Saturday evening and had no problems getting seated.

The food here is ALWAYS freshly cooked and very tasty. Their lunch special is the best in town: soup, egg roll, entree, and mini ice cream for $10 and some change! Portions are perfect. Presentation is excellent. Customer service is good. Location is also good. You might have to wait a while if taking out around dinner time, but it is worth the wait. Did I mention that their food is very fresh and delicious?
