They have a special vegetarian menu section with delicious entrees! I had the Vegetable Curry and my boyfriend had Tofu Basil Leaves and they were both delicious. I’m glad to say this restaurant has gotten better over the years. They’re the only Thai restaurant in our area and now we’ll go there more often. We ordered our dishes medium spicy, but they were more on the hot side, so next time we’ll order them with low spiciness. Great service, friendly people, beautiful interior. So glad they have a special vegetarian menu!!!

First time.
The place is nicely decorated, tables have a plate mat very nice and clean( should be a pain to clean it).
The crispy spring roll with vegetables didn’t had more veggies besides cabbage and 2 or 3 strip of carrot.
Ordered the Pud Thai and the Pud Cashew. The Cashew was way better but i came with very small portion of chicken. The pud Thai had a funny smell but it tasted good.
Presentation of the plated was good too.
Service was good and everyone was very sweet.

My sister and I decided to try something new and omg I’m glad we decided to go to Bankok House! The environment was surprisingly inviting and calm with lite classical music playing and beautiful traditional decor, the food was DELICIOUS…So much so it’s my new fav, and the service was great! I’m so glad I found this place and def will be going again.

It is my second time going to Bangkok House, and it surely didn’t disappoint. I commend Clay’s welcoming nature. He has this eloquent and positive attitude, which makes our experience better.

We ordered the Crispy Squid for appetizer and Pad Thai, the Volcano Chicken, and Tom Yum Goong for our entree. The crispy squid is exactly crispy and tastes fresh. The restaurant makes their own special chili paste and the noodles for the Pad Thai, and it was all great. I also had the Thai tea, just exactly what I was craving for. We were satisfied after our meal. Delightful dining.

Lastly, the whole place has a nice aroma – even the restroom.

Bangkok House is hands-down the best Thai restaurant in the Milwaukee area—and I don’t say that lightly.

I’ve been coming here for years, and after living in downtown Chicago for the past three years (and eating an absurd amount of Asian food), I can honestly say Bangkok House outperforms nearly all of them. The only one above it has has a Michelin chef, trees inside and 25 dollars spring rolls… BH’s flavors are bold, balanced, and consistently excellent—this is the kind of food that reminds you why people fall in love with Thai cuisine in the first place.

One of the biggest strengths is the kitchen’s ability to dial in spice levels per dish, and cater to the varying spice levels of the dining room. Whether you want subtle heat or full-send Thai spicy, they get it right. The vegetarian options are fantastic, thoughtfully prepared, and never feel like an afterthought.

On top of all that, Bangkok House is truly family-owned and operated, and you can feel it. This place has heart, consistency, and serious culinary credibility.

Milwaukee is lucky to have it. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out.

What an amazing experience! This place is serious date-night quality, the room is so beautiful and the food just amazing!! The Crab Rangoons were a stellar start, and at the server Clay’s suggestion I tried the Volcano Chicken and it came out sizzling alright! Tasted wonderful, and was very filling, but I really want to come back to try one of the pasta dishes since they make the pasta from scratch/in-house. And both Clay and the others (the owners?) were truly delightful people, made me feel very welcomed. Definitely will be back next time I’m in town!

It only took us 20 years to get here, and I regret not coming sooner. A lovely and clean restaurant with the friendliest staff! The food is wonderful. Order your dish from level 1 (mild) to level 5. If you’re a little scared to go hot or a mild and ask them to bring you some extra spice and add as you eat. The veggie tempura app is tasty, as is the crab Rangoon. We didn’t get the volcano chicken, but that is definitely on my wish list for our next visit. The dining room was fairly empty, but they sure do a great take out business.

We just arrived few minutes ago. The head server greeted us and told us he will make it happen whenever we request. Such a nice person! We ordered the Crab Rangoon for appetizer and it was as delicious . Have not tested the entree yet but I’m confident that it will be delicious! And their Mai Thai is excellent! Beautiful decor. If you are around this area you must come. I highly recommend. I’m just a visitor from NJ and this is my true review.

It was 3 of us coming in at around 5:30p on a Thursday night. We were greeted warmly by Clay, a very nice gentleman who referred himself as a busser. He recommended the volcano chicken, so that’s what we got, along with spring rolls, fried tofu, pad see ew, and jungle curry. We love spicy food so we ordered most things Thai Hot level. We came home with nice leftovers for lunch the next day! Portion was generous! We will come back … with more friends 🙂
