On top of this, the restaurant is Halal with a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Go check it out! You won’t be disappointed!
To top it all off, the mango sticky rice was heavenly — fresh, ripe mango slices with a sweet coconut drizzle that made the perfect finish to the meal. You can really taste the care in every dish.
If you’re craving authentic flavors, generous portions, and a cozy atmosphere, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!
We ordered the Basil Fried Rice (with egg added), Panang Curry with Chicken, Tom Kha Soup, Spicy Edamame, and Shrimp Tempura. The Tom Kha was a bit different from what we’ve seen at other Thai places—it had a more broth-like consistency rather than the rich, milky texture we’re used to—but the flavor was absolutely superb. We ordered the full pot, and it came beautifully served over a small coal burner to keep it warm throughout our meal.
Similarly, the Panang Curry wasn’t as creamy as other versions we’ve tried, but the taste delivered perfectly. The Basil Fried Rice was delicious, especially with the egg added in. The Spicy Edamame was fairly simple—regular edamame sprinkled with crushed chili flakes—but still enjoyable. The Shrimp Tempura was light, crisp, and tasty.
The Thai Tea was excellent, with the perfect balance of milk, tea, and sweetness. We also tried the fresh coconut they had just received from Thailand—it was refreshing and reminded us of the coconuts found in Pakistan and India, where you can drink the water and then scoop out the tender white flesh to enjoy with it.
Overall, we loved our experience and look forward to coming back. The fact that all the food is zabiha halal—meaning the meat has been slaughtered in a compassionate, ethical, and clean manner—was a big plus. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the menu also includes items like chicken sandwiches, Philly cheesesteaks, and a great selection for kids. I did notice there was a surcharge for to go boxes which I’d never see before at any restaurant so just a heads up.
Thank you, Bangkok Grill, for staying true to authentic Thai flavors while offering something for everyone!
Don’t hesitate to try the food by this restaurant
The prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality, and I left feeling completely satisfied. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, great vibes, and top-tier service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Edit: revised down after attempting to pay. we walked in with a $50 gift card purchased online 2 months ago, and the server refused to honor it, referring me to a 8 and 1/2×11 paper sign which said that they were no longer honoring “coupons”.
Further, be advised that they offer a free Thai tea for a five-star Google review, so the star rating is artificially high.
