This place was one of the worst Thai food I have had in a while. I had really high hopes due to its great review. I ordered chicken and shrimp pad se u- thin rice noodles, wings and fried rice. See photos.
The rice was tasteless and mushy, had to add soy sauce to make it edible. You can clearly see that the noodle was not rice noodles, the chicken was breaded and nasty. Very disappointed, ate the chicken and shrimp because I haven’t ate all day.

This is a great Thai restaurant near the Fort Washington area where the selection of Asian food isn’t that great to begin with. We had the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Papaya Salad, Mango Sticky Rice and Thai Teas. All of the food we ordered were very good. Not 100% authentic but pretty close, and I have been to Thailand.

I also liked how the restaurant was more of a lowkey joint with family vibes. The only nitpick that I have is the Pad Thai didn’t have crushed peanuts on it, but it’s something I can look past given the other dishes were very good.

We will definitely be back!

We’ve been coming back so many times I lost count. Everyone single time has been nothing short of AMAZING. Talk about consistency with the food quality!! I’ve never walked out of this place disappointed. Nothing super fancy but nice, humble, delicious food!! This might be my all time favorite restaurant. It certainly is my go to if I want to eat good food without breaking the bank. We always order the bangkok noodle, crispy duck basil, and mango sticky rice for dessert. That food will take you on a journey and your taste buds will thank you for it. I have not raved about a food experience like this in a while, but maaaaaan I love this spot!!!

Wow — authentic food, reasonable prices, squeaky clean premises including bathroom. Panang curry with tofu especially good with a light broth. My husband and son were impressed by their chicken and beef dishes, on par with the better Thai restaurants in the DMV.

I paid 53 dollars for the fried rice and two noodle dishes along with 3 spring rolls. The spring rolls have absolutely no flavor and the sauce that’s comes with it was watered down. Very disappointed since I read reviews before going

Small local Thai spot with authentic dishes and a really good pad see iew. They do a significant takeout business as well. Atmosphere is no-frills but friendly staff and great cooking.

Bangkok Garden is truly a hidden gem. When I first arrived for a dinner outing with friends, I honestly wasn’t expecting much based on the exterior—but I’m glad I stayed because the experience exceeded my expectations.

The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. Even with another party dining in, I never felt overlooked or rushed at my table. The atmosphere was quiet and calm, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal, whether you’re meeting friends, having lunch, or dining solo.

I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp (mild), and while it did have a bit more spice than expected, it was still very flavorful and enjoyable. I’ve had stronger versions of this dish elsewhere, but it still held its own with fresh ingredients and great taste.

Overall, this place offers excellent service, solid Thai cuisine, and a peaceful dining experience. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable Thai spot in the area.

A good, solid Thai restaurant. Well seasoned when requested (Thai hot is actually very spicy). Takeout food is well proportioned as is the sit-down experience at the restaurant. Overall, best Thai restaurant in the area.

Hands down the best Thai food in Maryland! We’ve been customers for over 15 years and my parents were customers before that. The staff is super friendly, especially Gong and his sister. We always feel like family when we dine there!
