I’m so disgusted. Went to Bangkok 96, which used to be one of my favorite restaurants. It went way downhill. It was like a fast food restaurant. You have to order your food at the counter, and they bring it out to you in plastic containers. Look at the Tom Ka Gai soup. It was like coconut water. The pad see eww was Eww! Thin noodles smothered in brown sauce. There was no tlc put into it. Sloppy service, and mediocre food. 2 out of 10!

Definitely disappointed in the service and food I had a nice size order I got the Bangkok fried rice asked for mild it had no seasoning or spice at all very bland I ordered shrimp fresh rolls asked for upgrade to shrimp hardly any shrimp asked to be cut in half they couldn’t even do that service has gone down a lot and it’s just not the same didn’t even finish my food I also ordered the chicken hot & sour soup it was ok and the crispy rolls were good but overall I probably won’t be going back to Bangkok 96 not the same

A gloomy, overcast day has me thinking comfort food, filling, tasty stuff. Thai food is comfort food. The dozen people here are of a similar mind, it seems.
Google showed two Thai restaurants apparently next to each other. Seems the other place, Thai Feast, is either an old name or previous restaurant. It ain’t open. In fact, the address is the same as here. Hint.
Order & pay at the counter. Food comes ready to carry-out even if you’re eating in. A. It odd but not unheard-of.
Interior isn’t super bright but the ambient light level outside is low, too. With all those windows it’ll be brighter inside when it’s brighter outside.
The women at the counter are quick, efficient and professional. They also deliver your order when it’s ready. You get you own plastic utensils, plates/bowls.
My food was perfectly prepared, hot, delicious and a solid amount for a Wednesday lunch.
Music was playing but at an appropriate level to converse and the staff to take phone orders easily.

The food is amazing!! Came here a family lunch on Saturday and the service was fast & friendly. You order & pay first , then sit down and they bring the food to you in takeout containers (which are great quality so I kept mine to reuse.) We ordered $200 worth of food and left with so many leftovers, because the servings are large. The Thai iced coffee was perfect the chicken satay was delicious with perfect seasonings, the spicy crab wontons are good too. The bbq wings w/sauce were my favorite. The crispy rolls were bigger than I expected the seafood combo is 10/10 . The #9 with chicken was nice also. And the Thai steak was amazing !!!!

Food is excellent here and to me it always has been. Been going for the last 6 years and not once was an order of mine ever incorrect—until last Friday. I wasn’t mad but disappointed because I really looked forward to what I thought I was about to have. No biggie. I gave ‘em a pass and came back the following week. I brought the receipt which showed the order that I was given and told them about the situation. The lady actually looked hurt, and my assumption was confirmed when I went to pay for my order and she told me that it was on the house because of what had happened the week prior. She was super sincere and I was genuinely appreciative of the offer, but I declined. I was not expecting anything and only brought the receipt into the establishment to poke fun at the staff for messing up their perfect record with me. Instead, my decision to patronize this establishment for the past six years was shown to be worth it. That gesture alone showed what type of person she is, what type of staff they are as a whole, what type of business they run and what message they want sent to their customers. Looks as if I’ll be coming back for years to come.

First time trying recommend by a family member. You order and either sit down they bring the food to your table. or you can take out. Ordered chicken and beef pud Thai, chicken fried rice, spicy crab wontons, hot and sour soup w/ side of spring rolls. Everything was hot and fresh. Best fried rice I’ve ever had. Pad Thai and would definitely order again good flavor very generous portions.

Never had Thai food before, was going to this place because it’s extremely well known for Thai food. I got N1 with extra green onions, mild, with shrimp and a spring roll. It was ok, nothing great, okay at best…Spring roll was too well fried, and the N1 was bland, no spice, sweet or spicy taste in my opinion. I was going to try Ty Valai in Allen Park, I should have tried them. Oh well , maybe next time I will go up a notch on the spice, and try it elsewhere

Very first visit ever, absolutely marvelous so much great food. We started with a few appetizers Crispy Rolls
5 pcs Ground chicken mixed with bean thread noodles and onions wrapped in rice paper and deep fried. Served with cucumber garlic sauce. Outstanding Wowed a must try . Spicy Crab Wontons
5 pcs Chili paste cream cheese with crab meat wrapped in wonton skins. Served with sweet & sour sauce. Perfect heat for those who love spicy . Chicken Satay
5 pcs Chicken skewer mixed with a coconut milk curry batter deep fried. Served with peanut sauce and a cucumber sauce. These hit different then any other place OMG so addictive with the Peanut Butter Sauce for dipping . Finally a Big Tom Kha just look at the mega amount of delicious Chicken, only $8 for a quart mega Deal perfect for sharing. Thanks Ms Nora for taking great care of us. Now gotta go back to try dishes other than appetizers. #bangkok96

The food is okay, I give it 3.5 out of 5. We ordered fried rice, spring rolls and duck in soy sauce. It could be better if they keep the place cleaner. They served foods in plastic containers, not in the plate. They provided some plastic utensils that in my opinion is not very effective for cutting duck meat.

Best Thai food I’ve ever had! Portions are very generous! There is no wait staff. You order and pick up food at the counter. If you decide to eat it, they’ll give you paper/plastic ware. You clean up after yourself!
