I loved how cute this place is, we have been to Thailand many times and very disappointed about the food. The drunken noodles was alright at first but went downhill taste like pure salt, spicy level was ok. The soup was absolutely pure salt and had no coconut taste. Other dishes were ok. The mandatory 20% tips is BS, we expect to tip but really feel uncomfortable about that mandatory thing.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our date night at bang bang! Such a fun atmosphere, I love all the attention to detail with the decor. The food was amazing and our server was super accommodating. It is Thai fusion so they definitely play with the flavors a bit and put their own twist on the dishes but without straying too far from traditional Thai. This is a great spot if you’re looking for fun vibes and great flavors!

Ate here catching up with my friend! Great ambience overall, loved their tofu and veggie noodles. My friend had their pad Thai and said it was ok – so there’s that. We also split the spring rolls which were amazing and fresh!!!! I would definitely come back here.

Our new go to restaurant in Whitefish! The green curry with chicken is absolutely amazing. And the huckleberry wings. Must try them. Our entire family loves going to Bang Bang! So nice to have variety in our little town!

Cannot say enough good things about Bang Bang! Was lucky enough to dine in last week and shared the wings (huckleberry), drunken noodles, panang curry, dumplings and slippery shrimp with my table. Every single dish was spectacular – portioned & seasoned just right and exactly what we needed after a day float. Also… the cheeky decor will definitely bring a smile to your face! Don’t sleep on this place, they’re doing big things.

Authentic. Big city Thai flavors in Whitefish. The heat is pitch perfect. Colorful, beautiful food. Make a reservation if your serious. Love this.

I read all the reviews for this place and got a kick out of the humorous owner responses. I needed to try it myself. Like others, I have spent a lot of time in Thailand and love Thai food. I’m excited to have a Thai restaurant in town.
I wanted so much to like this place and it started off great. Staff is super friendly and very attentive. The restaurant itself is cool and has a good vibe, music was great. I am a huge fan of Tom Kha Gai soup and couldn’t wait to try theirs. The price for it is unbelievably expensive. $16 for a bowl of soup is absurdly expensive. Not a bowl that could be shared, a regular bowl. The soup came and I was actually taken aback by how bad it was. It had the strongest lime flavor I’ve ever tasted. Faint coconut and zero sweetness. I ate it but it really missed the mark. I’ve had literally hundreds of bowls of this soup in Thailand and this was nothing like any of them. Then I ordered curry pork loin and coconut rice. One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Thailand served coconut rice and I was super excited to find another place that served it. My pork came and I first tried the rice. Absolutely the faintest hint of coconut. So much so, I wasn’t sure if I was actually given the correct rice. To call this coconut rice is to know the chef has never tasted coconut rice. It should be sticky and sweet with coconut. Almost desert like. Then the pork. Like the soup it was overpowered by an extremely strong lime flavor. I can’t understand what is going on here. There’s no way a Thai chef doesn’t know the correct amount of lime to put in a dish. I could only eat a few bites. It really was terrible.
I am going to go back because the restaurant is new and maybe they are still dialing in the recipes and I am hoping they take my review as constructive and not a bash session. This place has promise and I’m hoping they can succeed and clearly people are liking some of the dishes but looks like the soup isn’t popular to others as well. I’m also looking forward to the snarky remarks to my review:).

Not impressed and never going back. I dined with a companion and neither of us felt that we received the quality that the bill suggested we should expect. I’m a light eater and only wanted some fresh spring rolls. They were out of those, so I ordered Pad Thai with tofu. I have never seen so few vegetables or pieces of tofu in this dish anywhere else, and I’ve had it all over the country. I received what felt like about 2 lbs of oily, overly-tangy noodles with probably fewer than 10 pieces of limp tofu, 5 or fewer pieces of scallion, and topped with halved — not crushed — peanuts. No cilantro, no bean sprouts, no other vegetables. My companion ordered dumplings and drunken noodles with chicken. The dumplings were over-fried and nearly burned and the noodles were coated with oily sauce and came with only a few tiny pieces of chicken and a few small bits of vegetables. We shared a single-serve can of sake. The bill for some basic noodles and a single canned drink was right at $80 for takeout. The hostess was lovely and helpful, but that interaction was the best part of our experience at this establishment.

This review is based off of only two dishes from the menu; I def wanna come back and try more things.
Firstly, it’s low key pretty expensive. If you want to have protein in any of their main dishes you have to pay extra, and an additional $7 for some chicken in my curry seems a bit steep, especially when the base price is $20. My boyfriend opted for plain drunken noodles because of this. Maybe this is just Biden’s America but for your average working class couple here in Whitefish, not very affordable.
Secondly, amazing service, staff, and atmosphere. Waitress was awesome, music was awesome, presentation was beautiful. Great job on the vibe.
Food was solid. It’s good, but I wasn’t blown away. Drunken noodles were a bit dry and sticky, and didn’t love the veg in it. Could’ve been blanched another minute or two. Very flavorful, very spicy (seriously don’t get it if you can’t handle spice). Thai basil chicken (with a beautifully cooked fried egg, I must say), was too salty and I couldn’t finish it all in one sitting. But still tasty.
I want to go back and reassess, because the vibes were immaculate. Worth a try go support em

First time in so I thought I would give the Pad Thai a try. I know food is very personal, but I was disappointed. The service, the atmosphere and the presentation were great, but the taste was predominantly salty fish sauce. I did not taste any other balancing flavors that you usually get – A hint of sourness or sweetness. My partner’s dish was better, but at this point, I’m not rushing back.
