We dined in this evening after seeing several people post about this place on social media. We drove down from Brandon and we are so glad that we did! We were promptly greeted as we entered. The menu had a huge selection and it was so hard to choose! Everything sounded so good!
The kids enjoyed cheeseburgers, chicken tenders and the mac&cheese.
Hubby enjoyed the Ribeye special that included a choice of two sides: Mac&cheese and sweet potato fries. We also had an order of wings with their house bbq sauce and street corn.
I had an order of BBQ nachos.
There was a slight mix up with the tickets and my nachos were a little late to the party but it was totally fine. They got slammed for a bit right after we placed our order and I know that can be overwhelming sometimes. The staff was friendly and kept a check on all guests.
We enjoyed every single thing we ordered. Hubby and I agreed that this hidden gem is easily the best restaurant we have eaten at since moving to Mississippi. We are from Memphis… we know good, seasoned, flavorful and delicious food and Bandits BBQ is just that. Please bottle that house sauce up and slap a for sale sticker on it!
We will definitely stop in again!

I’ve tried twice now and just have to say how disappointed I was in the taste of food. The burger was good enough but not special in any way. The loaded spuds though…. $30 spent for 2 baked potatoes that went mostly in the trash. My “regular, loaded spud” is dry, unbuttered, and unsalted while hidden under cheese and bacon
All after waiting 45 minutes for anything. The staff is lovely, but the food is just not it. I wanted so bad to love this but I’m leaving with a taste of “yesterday’s burnt leftovers”.

My wife and I tried this Hattiesburg location a few weeks ago. It was awesome so we went back the following weekend. Again, it was totally awesome! Both times we had the appetizer, Pimento Cheese. You get pork skins, pimento cheese, sweet pickles, and pickled onions on a platter. It’s a lot of food! I would have never thought the combination of these items together would be amazing. It’s Devine! We have tried their barbecue chicken, potato salad, and baked beans. All delicious. I got the “Bandirito” my first go around. It was amazing. Next time I got the “Loco Moco” burger. So far my favorite! I’ve told several friends about this place and all have said they loved it. They are located across from Academy Sports on Hwy 98 in Hattiesburg, MS, behind Trust Care. Y’all gotta try it and support local restaurants!

I have been here multiple times. Every experience has been a treat. The brisket, potato salad, and baked beans are my favorite. We hired them to smoke a whole hog for my daughter’s luau birthday party and EVERYONE was so impressed at how juicy and delicious it was. Highly recommend!

Went yesterday with my boyfriend and we really enjoyed it! It’s hard to find good BBQ in a restaurant but this place was great! The service was great, everyone was super friendly. Our food was delicious!!
I had the nachos with pulled pork, mac n cheese, and street corn. He had hot honey & white sauce wings with onion rings & fries. The RANCH!! I wish they sold it by the bottle, it’s the best ranch i’ve had in a long time. Will be back!

After waiting THIRTY minutes we got our TO GO order of burnt chicken wings and mini tacos with burnt chips as a side. When I asked the manager on duty her reply “we messed up some orders ahead of yours so we had to fix theirs first” also I ordered the garlic parmesean wings. They came plain.

The burgers were perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. Both the original fries and the sweet potato fries were great. Generous portions topped off with friendly service. I wish we would have stopped sooner as this will be a regular stop for our family. Nice to have a good “Mom and Pop” option outside of fast food and chain restaurants.

My boyfriend and I love this place!! Our first time going, we ordered ribs, brisket, street corn, potato salad, and mac and cheese. It was delicious! Street corn is my favorite menu item. The ribs weren’t ready when we ordered so we waited. The wait wasn’t bad, but the girls gave us a whole rack instead of half like we ordered bc of our wait with no extra charge. It really spoke on the staff and owner’s character for doing that!
We love going on weekdays and weekends bc of the laid back atmosphere. I’m not a huge BBQ fan, but I love going to Bandits and I recommend everyone going!!

First of all, they never have burnt ends or chicken. I have tried like a dozen random times and they are always out. Just a suggesting. If you are always out of something, make more. Simple concept. So after trying at least a dozen times I finally got some burnt ends thinking they would be the bomb since they are in such high demand, but they were covered with some sort of very sweet syrup that ruined them. If I want desert, I will order as such, but my meal should not be candy-covered. Oh, I also tried the pulled pork since that’s all they had them other time I tried them, but it tasted metallic and was real juicy and seemed off all around. We have tried the burgers and they are very good. I like patronizing small businesses, so I do go back for the burgers often, but not for BBQ.
