As far as tex_mex goes, I would say this place is average. Stopped by for lunch on Saturday, not too crowded. No wait. Not bad but I’ve had better, lacked flavor/seasoning. I ordered the enchilda and tamale combo. Husband ordered steak burrito. Rice was a little soggy. The tamale tasted processed like store bought. Idk, I wanted to love this place. The margaritas were good, try the Ethyl! Sangria margarita combo. Indoor and outdoor seating. Limited free parking.

It’s Katy Trail exact food and drinks basically. I’d rather go to Katy trial for burgers and other Mexican food places. Vibe is nice. There was a 30-40min wait.

This spot and this little region in Highland park doesn’t get enough attention. This Tex-Mex joint was delicious with sizable portions. They truly embrace the “everything is bigger in Texas” mentality compared to other restaurants. It’s great value. The brisket tacos are a must try and the chicken fajita tacos were excellent as well.

The atmosphere makes you seem like you’re in a well-kept secret because of how cozy it is, though there is plenty of space. With seating ourselves, someone already clocked us, and chips and salsa followed less than 3 min. The food was filling(got the brisket tacos) even with the mistake of only getting one order. They were polite and came with the other one with haste. Would definitely come back!

The food was a bit underwhelming in my opinion but perhaps the brisket tacos were not the intelligent choice. My girlfriend seemed to enjoy her chicken tacos and the flautas was a decent starter. Overall I would not eat here again but would suggest someone more acquainted with Mexican food to give it a shot.

Tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago, Thursday nights get busy, so try to get there early for a seat! Everything we had was great, loved the Queso, the amigos chicken was great! The service was a bit slow, but still worth going!

I came here because they are open later than most other restaurants around here and it was really good. They charge normal prices even though it’s an expensive neighbourhood. The food was really delicious and the service was friendly too.
