First time to Banditos and it didn’t disappoint. Parking can be tricky during busy hours tho – just keep circling. LOL It’s not a huge place – nice and cozy. Great food and excellent customer service. We had nachos, a burger and enchiladas – all fabulous. Our bar tender/server Tevin was greatness! I’ll be back for sure – ready to enjoy the patio when it warms up.

You’re typical Tex-Mex restaurant. The location is rad, and their space is really cool. I came in after the lunch crowd and it was not too busy. The waiter was pleasant. I ordered their beef fajita burrito. It was just Ok…way too much cheese inside. The beans were fine but the rice was cold and gummy. The food came out really really quick, which begs the question of how fresh is everything?
One and done!

The minute I walk in, I don’t want to leave! I meet a friend at Banditos once in a while and we sit at the bar for food, drinks and to catch up. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but I LOVE this place!! The atmosphere, the cold beer, the food – it’s all perfect. If Texas Country music, great food and cold beer is your jam, this is the place. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

Banditos has been in Snyder Plaza as long as I can remember, so it’s a staple. We went on a Sunday around 11 AM when they just opened the doors. The restaurant has a strong smell of Pine-Sol in the early hours (confirmed twice), which does suggest it’s clean, but the smell can be overpowering.
The service was phenomenal; our server was friendly, funny and attentive. We had the loaded queso, which is excellent and went with chicken fajita nachos. The “big” order comes with 6 nachos, the “bigger” order comes with 12. They’re a little greasy from the cheese, but delicious. Very crunchy, thick chips, lots of cheese, and it comes with all the fixings. Great place to grab a lunch and Snyder Plaza has shopping after a few margaritas.

This spot and this little region in Highland park doesn’t get enough attention. This Tex-Mex joint was delicious with sizable portions. They truly embrace the “everything is bigger in Texas” mentality compared to other restaurants. It’s great value. The brisket tacos are a must try and the chicken fajita tacos were excellent as well.
Only thing is that the chicken fajita tacos don’t come with rice and beans, which is a bit unfortunate but definitely better than most restaurants we have been to. Brisket was shredded and saturated in the juices If you like brisket, you will love these tacos.
It has a great lively atmosphere. Like a proper bar vibe. Dimmly lit, loud music, and full of people laughing and having a good time. If you are looking for a more intimate evening, you won’t likely get that here though lol it’s fun and loud. It can be difficult to hear which is the only negative I have to say about this place.
We will definitely be coming here again!

As far as tex_mex goes, I would say this place is average. Stopped by for lunch on Saturday, not too crowded. No wait. Not bad but I’ve had better, lacked flavor/seasoning. I ordered the enchilda and tamale combo. Husband ordered steak burrito. Rice was a little soggy. The tamale tasted processed like store bought. Idk, I wanted to love this place. The margaritas were good, try the Ethyl! Sangria margarita combo. Indoor and outdoor seating. Limited free parking.

It’s Katy Trail exact food and drinks basically. I’d rather go to Katy trial for burgers and other Mexican food places. Vibe is nice. There was a 30-40min wait.

Friendly service and good food. Drinks were ok. 9 dollars was too much for a shitty velvetta cup of queso. No chip refills and tvs were in very odd places to watch the game
