I recently checked out Banda’s Seafood and I absolutely loved it. This is definitely a “hole-in-the-wall” in the very best way. They make everything fresh (I went behind in the scenes in the kitchen). I tried fried shrimp and fried fish and I loved it! Their tartar sauce was really good. I also tried some Sopapillas and they were so good!

1st time here. I was pleasantly surprised with this little place.
I found it on Google maps and decided to try it for a mid afternoon lunch.
I ordered the 3 fish and 3 shrimp plate.
The fish was not that great. The shrimp was good.
Maybe I should have pressed the catfish plate. I saw it and it looked better than mine. Next time.
It does have limited parking space.

These people know how to fry seafood! Lite coating with some corn meal in it. I drive across town for their fried oysters I always go to the one on Port Ave. Small hole in the wall restaurant.

I recently visited this restaurant after a long time, and boy, did it exceed my expectations! The fish and shrimp were cooked to perfection, with a delightful crispy exterior that complemented the tender interior. There is just no way there’s one full-size fish and the rest are nugget size. We ordered a 12 pc to split between 2 kids and 2 adults, just a little something before we drive 2 hours home. I would have given 5 stars considering the tarter sauce is a signature and good as heck, but I am so disappointed we had to divide up 3 NUGGETS per person. It looks like they chopped up full-size fish to convenience a 12 piece. I feel played. Sorry. Please specify the size of the fish for this plate. I only came here because reviews showed a full-size fish for the plates.

First time here, normally little spots like these are good, so I picked one on the map nearby and decided to try. The fish was a bit bland, no flavor other than the fishy taste, the oversized wedges were also not so great, didn’t have any flavor, needed salt or some type of seasoning. The shrimp was ok but again like everything else, bland. Now I know. Won’t be a spot I save for the future.
