I’ve been visiting Wildwood for over 30 years, and I can honestly say I never expected my favorite restaurant “down the shore” to be a Mexican one – until now. My first visit to Bandanas was an absolute revelation, and I’m thrilled to share what a fantastic experience I had at this BYOB restaurant.
From the moment we walked in, the staff’s friendliness and attentiveness were remarkable. Our waitress was wonderful, but what truly stood out was the palpable passion from what seemed to be the manager or even owner. Their genuine love for the restaurant and its customers was evident, making us feel incredibly welcomed.
The outstanding hospitality set a high bar, and the food not only met it but exceeded it spectacularly. We enjoyed several fantastic dishes, but the Baja Cheese Quesadilla was a true showstopper. With its perfectly crispy exterior, seasoned grilled chicken, perfectly melted cheese, and savory bacon bits, it’s hands down the best quesadilla I have ever had. Seriously, it’s that good!
To top it all off, the ambiance is a triple win. The vibrant Mexican decor creates an authentic atmosphere, and the option to dine outdoors under the Wildwood sky made for a truly enjoyable evening.
Bandanas has truly nailed it. It was a great experience from start to finish, and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our meal. If you’re heading to Wildwood, I highly recommend making Bandanas a must-visit on your list. You won’t be disappointed!

Have been coming here with my family for the last few years and it never disappoints! Staff is super friendly and attentive and the food is delicious! My personal favorite is the enchiladas but I can’t forget about the queso fundido. Ice cream is delicious as well. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

Service was great, Paula was very attentive and pleasant. The food is mid at best. The atmosphere is cafeteria-like inside and nothing special outside. Definitely do Not recommend the quesadilla, its mostly cheese and not much flavor.

First time eating here after passing it for many years. It was absolutely delicious. Super friendly staff and great atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and you don’t feel bloated after eating there. Only downside is if u want chips and salsa it is a billed item as an appetizer. Most Mexican restaurants give it free. Other than that everything was great and I highly recommend it and will be going back.

Food was delicious and the staff was so friendly and the outdoor seating area was so pretty at night. They had crayons for our kids, a gentleman who worked there recommended hot sauce for my husband to try (so good!!), and our waitress couldn’t have been nicer. Highly recommend the street tacos. We’ll definitely stop back next time we’re in town

Came here for dinner, it was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel. Ordered the southwest bowl with shrimp and grilled fish tacos. Both were great choices and the design of the restaurant was very cute, felt like Mexico. Had some dessert after, the churros with the chocolate sauce were just ok but the death by chocolate icecream was amazing! Waitress was really kind and friendly as well.

Must try if in wildwood! Went here with my family on our summer vacation trip we are vegetarian and their selection of vegetarian options were delicious perfectly cooked and the server and the owner both were super friendly & welcoming , ice creams were delicious as well!

Chips came out warm and perfectly salted. The beef and shrimp were cooked to perfection but the beans and rice needed some work. Service was too notch.
