The service was extraordinary, but what really surprised me was how genuine it felt. The staff seemed comfortable being themselves and it all just felt refreshingly authentic. The atmosphere was wildly confusing. The music was pop, the food was italian, the decorations were western, and the staff mostly dressed a bit alternative. I have no idea how, but it sort of worked?

The food itself was definitely not worth the price, but not in an unforgivable way. It wasn’t great, but it was good enough. The drink selections were excellent though!

Went in 30 minutes before closing. I was expecting to get just average service and food. It seems that many eateries these days get upset if you arrive within an hour of closing time. Not the case here at all. I was greeted immediately by a smiling server that promptly sat me, brought me water, a menu, and a glass of wine. She took my order and brought me bread and a delightful salad. Within about 10 minutes, she brought out my main entree fresh and hot. It was delicious. I was so taken that I thanked them all, including the two young cooks. They said it was their pleasure and asked me back soon! Kudos to Bandanas Italian eatery. What a great experience and fantastic food, atmosphere, and hospitality.

Spaghetti-western done right! Bandanas Italian Eatery is truly a hidden gem in this small town. It’s a family-owned and operated restaurant with a touch of authenticity that’s hard to find.
Lulu, our server, made us feel right at home, and her sister’s cheesecake, made from their grandmother’s original Queens recipe, was a sweet delight that brought back memories of classic Italian desserts.
From their appetizers and side salads to their signature Cajun pasta dish and their house-made sweet tea, every bite was a burst of flavor and quality.
My only two critiques would be that the chairs/bench seating aren’t the most comfortable and my husband’s ravioli was a little lackluster, but those are just minor hiccups.
Ultimately, I’d recommend bringing your family and friends to enjoy a taste of the Old West mixed with the charm of authentic Italian cuisine. You’re truly missing out if you don’t give this place a try!

Amazing food and desserts. You cannot beat the concept or the bourbon selection. They even have an amazing after hours location in West Central Wine. Locally owned and operated businesses will always earn my dollar.

Enjoyed a wonderful dining experience. Food was awesome and the service was prompt and friendly.
My wife and I had the margherita pizza and lasagna and both were very good and there was plenty of both.

They have a very good wine selection and the Old Fashioned I enjoyed was perfectly blended.

The coolest new Italian restaurant with a cowboy twist! Love the family recipes, friendly service, and ambiance, we can’t wait to come back to Bandanas. We had the homemade Italian sausage, salads and the Chicken Piccata, and Beef Bolognese. We devoured it all. Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, sauces were spot on. Highly recommended.

Passing thru & looking for a great Italian dinner. Missed the marked. Lasagna sauce was very heavy and little mozzarella. Spaghetti and meatballs- spaghetti and sauce good but meatballs way too heavily spiced. Service just ok even tho waiter was pleasant.

The idea of a spaghetti western themed bar & restaurant was lost on me at first, but now that I’ve been here it’s definitely on my list of favorite places – both for going out with my boyfriend and for entertaining out of town folks.

We had the meatballs, the Nenni family sausage plate, and split a gluten free crust pizza.

The gluten free crust was unremarkable – their regular crust promises to be hand-pressed so I think next time we’ll splurge and get the gluten. Everything else was awesome – our server Kate was lovely and the flavors were fantastic. Kate was also awesome with cocktail and bourbon suggestions and we were in absolutely no danger of going thirsty.

Such coolness! Spaghetti western?! Too cute, and originally delish. Great menu, nice staff and ambiance. Check them out. Don’t know if they have dessert.

As a local Middletown patron, I received a warm welcome at Bandanas Italian Restaurant. Monica and Mel, the owners, personally consulted with me about where I might like to sit for the best experience. As a party of one, my table location met my wishes. Jacob was my exquisite waiter. He was polite, comprehensive, patient, and thorough with attention to detail. Bandanas had all the ingredients for the menu choices I selected. I ordered my dinner from Bandana’s Appetizer menu choices. I had Roman Onion Soup which was a deliciously unique onion soup with garlic bread and provolone cheese. The mussels were even more delicious. I had the “One Pound of Fresh Steamed Mussels served in Tomato and Red Wine Broth with Onions, Garlic, and Red Peppers”. (Bandanas Italian Restaurant). The mussels were at peak freshness and were steamed to perfection, delicate and juicy, not chewy. The tomato and red wine broth was, without a doubt, one of the freshest, most unbelievably delicious broths or sauces I have ever tasted in my life. One pound of mussels is a generous appetizer. I was very pleased and satisfied with a perfect meal in Bandanas Spaghetti Western Italian atmosphere. (Bandanas Italian Restaurant).
