The service was awkward. Had to ask 3 times for coffee & practically had to beg for Splenda every time. They REALLY need to replace the toilet seat. The gravy was okay, liked the biscuit. My Oatmeal was undercooked. I honestly was just flat out disappointed in this place.

Went there with family today on our way to a flea market. Decided to have breakfast first. MISTAKE. Waited approx 10 minutes for anyone to even come to take our drink order . Drink order finally taken & waited again only to have a different waitress ( very pleasant ) come & take our drink order & bring to us. Waited this time for our original waitress to come back to take our order but instead we noted FOUR more groups of customers who came in after we did , sat down at their tables , gave their orders to the original waitress( who should have already taken our orders first) AND we noted that at least 3 of those groups got their food before the original waitress came back to even take our order. Food poor , service poor. Won’t go back . Would have given this page a 0 rating but this page would not let continue without rating it so hence the one star.

Best “greasy spoon” diner I have been to in a long time. Friendly staff, large portions, and great prices. My Northern Omlett was stuffed full and the hashbrowns were cooked perfectly crispy on the outside. If we come back this way, we’ll be back!

The inside of this restaurant is a little worse for wear. The booths all have tears in the benches and are a bit of an eyesore, but the place looked clean. The food was really good (husband had scrambled eggs and sausage, I had SOS), and we both enjoyed the friendly service and hometown feel. Will definitely go back!
