I recently visited Ban Chok Dee Thai Cuisine, and the overall dining experience was truly impressive. The restaurant has a warm and elegant atmosphere, beautifully designed with touches of Thai-inspired décor. The lighting is soft, the seating is comfortable, and the ambiance makes it a great place for gatherings with friends or a cozy date night. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing excellent service from the moment we walked in.
The food was delicious, and a few dishes really stood out. The Thai milk tea was outstanding—rich, fragrant, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. It was one of the best Thai teas I’ve had in Vancouver. The red curry was another highlight, bursting with aromatic spices and creamy coconut flavor. The portion was generous, and every bite was flavorful, with the right level of heat that made the dish even more enjoyable. Paired with rice, it was absolutely satisfying.
Overall, Ban Chok Dee delivers a wonderful combination of great food, inviting ambiance, and excellent service. If you’re looking for authentic and well-crafted Thai cuisine, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended! ️

Me and my sister took our kids here for the first time, We ordered the appetizer platter, a seafood dish, pineapple and shrimp stirfry and ginger beef. We were very happy with not only the taste and presentation of the food, but also the service they were very friendly and very attentive. We will definitely be going back 🙂

The fact that currently this restaurant is only rated 4.3 stars is a crime. The Khao soi is the best I’ve had outside of Chiang Mai. The service is incredible and atmosphere is warm and authentic. I’ve tried at least 8 different dishes here and you can’t go wrong with any of them. Highlights for me are definitely the Khao soi and the red or yellow curries. Highly recommend this spot for anyone in the Langley area looking for authentic Thai cuisine. Kop Khrun Khrup!

We went there for a mid week lunch. The food was good. I really liked the Thai burger, which was distinctly different from other “regular” burgers. We tried their stuffed chicken wings and it was delicious. The Thai fried rice was ok. The service was great and we liked the overall vibe of the restaurant.

Great night out. Had my favourite item, the red curry with beef. Can’t get enough, was here for lunch a few days prior. My wife enjoyed the lettuce wraps. Oh and if you have the room for dessert, the deep fried ice cream or the fried bananas are wonderful.

This was my first time trying Thai food in Vancouver with my wife. The green curry was just right for our tastes, and the portions were generous. The chicken satay was a bit dry, though. Next time, I’ll have to try the pad thai and pork satay.

Tried Baan Chok Dee and overall, it was just okay. Their Thai iced tea was good and refreshing, and the pork skewers were definitely the highlight – juicy and flavorful. Unfortunately, the rest of the food didn’t live up to expectations. The fried rice came out mushy, and the Thai basil chicken was disappointing – way too many veggies, barely any basil, and we ordered it spicy but there was no spice at all. The pad thai was also pretty mediocre, nothing that stood out. For the price, I expected more authentic flavors. Decent spot if you’re nearby, but not one I’d rush back to.

Didn’t like the stuffed chicken wings. Not what I expected at all. The chicken skewers are good though. Great flavour and is super tender. The pad sew is okay. Service is pretty bad

Everytime mu friends and I go into the restaurant the food and staff are amazing. I ordered skip the dishes from there last night. The second time ive done it and the food was slop. Seriously disappointing. I ordered pad thai. Noodles weren’t completely mixed with the sauce. Not enough sauce. Some of the noodles had no sauce at all and were still in the shape of the holding container. Was super greasy. Definitely not what I expect from this great restaurant. I was sick and didnt feel like cooking. I ended up throwing it out I was so disappointed. 30$ for this was wrong.

I always saw this restaurant packed whenever I passed by, so I finally decided to try it — and now it’s one of my go-to spots! everything we ordered was super tasty and the portions were big. For dessert, we had the mango sticky rice. It was good overall, but the mango wasn’t ripe and tasted a bit tangy.

Its better to have a reservation on weekends.

Items we ordered:
Spicy calamari
Stuffed chicken wings
Chicken satay
Thai fried rice
Thai brasil stir fry
Chowmein noodles
