Bambuu had one of the best I have had in years. The chicken quantity was generous. The lo mein noodles were generous. I was very pleased.
I was also impressed with the number of options they had to choose from. So what ever you’re preferred fast Asian protein they had it and it looked great.
Staff were very friendly and they had a great combo meal special.
Very happy with the stop and to have finally had a good General Tso’s Chicken!
I like the flavor and variety. The mushrooms (additional charge) are my favorite on the menu.
They have a lunch special that includes a soft drink, but be careful because if one of the Asian girls sees you speaking Spanish, she’ll give you a partial meal (no cutlery and a soft drink, which is included in the deal), so avoid speaking Spanish in front of them. A little expensive. $14.00 lunch deal.
The bourbon chicken is really tasty and their teriyaki mushroom is also really flavorful and thankfully not soggy
My friend had the Korean chicken bites and she said they were very good and not super spicy.
The food does not feel too greasy and I will always pick this place over Panda Express since it’s the same price.
Everything on the menu sounded and looked great, I ended up getting bbq pork with fried rice, it was a decent amount of food. Can’t wait to go back to try everything else!
I ordered the four bowl and decided to try the bbq pork, orange chicken, low mein and veggies.
The noddles had a nice bite to it but were a little on the under seasoned side. Nothing a little soy sauce and duck sauce can’t fix though. The veggies had a nice crunch and I know it’s a desired taste , I personally like my veggies al dente and when I bit into them they tasted more raw than anything. It wasn’t tossed in a sauce so it was bland like buying bagged veggies and placing them on the plate.
The only redeeming quality of the bowl honestly was the orange chicken. I don’t know what is going on because people mention it being salty and others mention it being bland. I think everyone’s tastebuds are different. Me personally I could use more flavor and seasonings in the food. Nothing really stood out to me. The orange chicken was great though and I wish I had gotten double portion of it. It was chewy but not obnoxious kind but the perfect chewy but crunchy texture. Juicy white chicken and no weird bites of tendons.
The pork was a little dry but the flavor was almost there for me. I found myself craving that orange chicken and would come back just for that honestly. I used to love Panda as a kid but now I’ve outgrew them . I always find that it’s not the same quality so I was hoping this place did it better. There’s still new granted they opened recently so there’s space to grow but people’s first impression seems to be that they love it or they don’t. Hope this business is able to garner loyal customers.
As for me, I plan to review once they are open for a couple more months and give them a chance to work out kinks and then maybe my rating will go up. I hope they are able to stay open with Panda next to them.
