We had a really great time at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
I ordered the Extra Spicy Szechwan Chicken, and I have to say, the spice level was absolutely perfect, just apt! It had all the flavor and the kick I was hoping for, which is often hard to find. All the other dishes we tried were also excellent in quality and taste.
We noticed the restaurant is run by a couple, and the lady who took our order was incredibly sweet and welcoming. That personal touch really added to the positive atmosphere.
We really enjoyed the great food and the charming service from the owners. Highly recommend this spot!

Omg. First time ordering from here and it was fantastic!! We had quite a large lunch order. Vegetables were crunchy, the sweet/hot sauce looks like yellow broth for dipping was fabulous!!
They overcharged me $21 and promptly called to let me know. We will definitely be ordering again. Excellent.

This is my new go to in columbia for best chinese food and service. I have tried generals, orange, red curry chicken, Mongolian chicken, and chicken lo mein. All are fresh and amazing. The crab Rangoon has a yellow curry in it that is very subtle and delicious. Pot stickers. Hot and sour soup is awesome. Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I was so happy to learn that Bamboo Terrace reopened in a new location downtown. Their fried rice is simply amazing. It is very similar to fried rice that you get in St. Louis. I had questions about the ingredients in the fried rice and one of the owners came out to talk to me about how it was prepared. I wanted beef, chicken and shrimp in it. That wasn’t on the menu, but they accommodated my request. All of the food is prepared in an open kitchen. You can see the wok and the flames below it. We also had sesame chicken and lo mein with duck and it was delicious. Their curry crab Rangoon is fabulous, not sweet. The house made sweet and sour sauce and house made hot mustard is delicious. I believe this is the best Chinese restaurant in Columbia.

This is the best Chinese food I have had in a long time if ever! I got duck lo mein and sesame chicken. The duck had a great smokey taste and the sesame chicken was yummy with a great texture. We also got crab Rangoon and the chicken egg roll. Both were very good, if you do not like sweet crab Rangoon this is your spot. My is from St. Louis and this is the only fried rice she will eat in Columbia. For those who don’t know St. Louis has a special way of making fried rice. It isn’t as dark as St. Louis but still has a similar flavor with plenty of meat. There is a house made hot mustard that does not look like a traditional hot mustard but is AMAZING. The sweat & sour sauce also appears to be house made, also delicious! My mom is so happy they are back, different location than the original (which was by the Walmart on West Broadway).

Lovely little place! Me and my friend went there for lunch and even though the menu on Google showed the dinner options (whoops) I found something I liked pretty quickly. My friend got the tofu and I got the bourbon chicken. The lady there was so lovely! Felt like dining at your mom’s or grandma’s house it was cozy.
The tofu tasted great, sauce good. It’s hard to describe, but like a perfectly toasted marshmallow. Had a good crust (?) and the inside was nice and chewy! Didn’t let it cool enough so it burnt my mouth lol.

The Bourbon chicken is wonderful! Ohhh my God, soft and juicy on the inside but the breading had a good crunch on the outside. I recommend eating in, rather than taking out, since it’s way better when fresh. They cook their rice well. It’s plain white rice, but I think she provides more than enough sauce to make up for it. I personally think white rice tastes a little sweet. Asked for a to go box at the end and she gave one of those little boxes like what you pack rice in. A little unexpected but I was able to fit half my plate in! Roomier than expected!

The new location is very convenient for students as it is situated in downtown. I only saw three people working, but they made our food in under 15 minutes. The authentic Chinese dishes were good except that they had a little too much salt. I was not a fan of the plating as it made the portions look small. The lady cashier, possibly the owner, was very friendly and was open to feedback.
