2nd visit: I sat at the bar this time. Johnny was the bartender and he was awesome. Maybe the best bartender I’ve ever had. Super personable, attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to go back. Oh, try the green machine sushi roll. It has fried green beans which sounds weird but it’s extremely good. This is 100% my sushi spot. $23 for king salmon 5 piece sashimi? Yes, please!!!
We really liked Bamboo Sushi. The fish were good and priced better than just about all surrounding sushi spots in that neighborhood. We had a reservation at 4, but they took us early at 2pm. It was rather empty at this time. The large hot saki is a proper large at probably 6-8 shots so that was awesome and priced very nicely.
The service was so bad though. Waitress rarely stopped by to check in on us and our sushi waited at the sushi bar for her to get for at least 20 minutes. There was only one other table though, and it was another waitress taking care of them so I can’t understand why service was so bad. The saki and sushi/fish easily made this a 5 star experience but the service was so bad that I dropped it to 2 stars. We will sit at the bar or sushi bar next time to avoid that waitress and hopefully receive better service. Can’t imagine what service is like when the restaurant is actually busy…

– Garden of Eden Roll
– Friday The 13th Roll
– Green Machine Roll with Salmon
I really enjoyed everything we ordered. The Green Machine roll was my favorite and you can never go wrong with crispy rice.

Delicious sushi, drinks and desserts. You can’t go wrong ordering from this place. Highly recommend the Pebbles and Stone Roll with toasted leek on top and The Forbidden Fruit cocktail. Love coming here on occasion never disappointed when I leave.

My boyfriend and I sat at the bar tonight for his birthday dinner and had an exceptional experience. This was our first time and we will absolutely be back. Every dish we had was thoughtful, bright, delicious and deviated from the typical sushi norm. The staff is equally fantastic. Everyone we spoke with was great and made the experience even better. The staff at Bamboo Sushi were so welcoming and attentive. My friend and I both have food allergies and I was confident in how they checked everything we ordered to make sure there wasn’t going to be any issues. The food is outstanding with a variety of sushi options on the regular menu and a special season focused menu that’s constantly changing.
This last trip, our server Jackie was amazing. From the moment we sat down until we walked out full making sure we had refills and asking how everything was each step of the way. She even helped make sure we got a dish we wanted to try when it was not available on the regular menu by swapping out the protein.
Cannot recommend Bamboo sushi enough!

Yum! Amazing service and food. Love that they mark their sustainable seafood options. Our favorite was the salmon nigiri: so fresh and delicious, but we also Loved the crispy rice and the Brussels sprouts. I want to come back and try the tiradito!

Ate here at the tail end of a business trip. We got two rolls and an order of sashimi along with the Caesar Salad and Roasted Brussels Sprouts. Everything we had was amazing. They make a pretty good olé’fashion too.

The food did not match the price. The quality of the sushi was poor, the fish looked dull and dry, and the rice was not tasty. None of the dishes showed any particular care or attention.
The male staff member serving us was very businesslike and not particularly friendly. After we paid, his attitude noticeably worsened. I also requested water, but the service was indifferent and unpleasant.
There are other Japanese restaurants at similar prices that offer a much better experience.

What a great sushi spot! This place cater is very well to anyone who can’t eat gluten… and the sushi is fantastic. I’ve eaten here a few times now. I’ve been impressed every time I’ve been. Great atmosphere for going with friends or bringing your parents!

Kat, Jackie, and Stephanie gave such amazing service. This restaurant I would say is the best sushi that ive had in Denver. Amazing atmosphere and absolute above & beyond service. The food was delicious, would highly recommend! I took my daughter here for a Valentine’s Day dinner and they were so sweet to the both of us.
