An excellent meal, loads of choice and everything we ordered was delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you’ve never been before… And returning if you have! It might be worth booking though, because it was (rightfully) very busy.

Genuinely not a single negative thing to say! There is a wide variety of things to choose from, service was fast and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was genuinely mouthwatering – I would highly recommend the fried salmon skin sushi. The Xiao Long Bao came out piping hot and absolutely delicious. Incredible prices too – 5 stars just isn’t enough!

As an Australian living in Wales, one thing I miss is good Japanese food. Thank goodness then, for Bamboo. I don’t live in Swansea but if I’m passing through I will always stop here. Their bento boxes are excellent value, their starter/entrée list has options galore, even their xiao long bao are great (not Japanese I know!). And the staff are just so friendly. A gem of a place.

Been here so many times over the past 2 years and I highly recommend!!
My go-to mains are usually the salmon sushi, katsu curry or chicken ramen and they’re all perfection. The dumplings are also very very tasty, I would recommend the crystal and pumpkin shrimp ones.
Also the family who owns the restaurant are so lovely too, and we always get the best service☺️

I don’t even know where to start. This was a last minute decision, And we are so glad we went here. The food was the best I’ve ever eaten and I’ve had sushi all over the world, the food was fresh and just an overall euphoric food experience.. I read the other reviews and they are not lying. This will be the only and regular sushi place we will be using. The pricing was amazing. The kids ate everything not a bit of food was wasted. We can’t wait to return thanks for having us xx

visited with my boyfriend this evening and we’re both glad we did!! we shared the veggie dumplings and veggie spring rolls, which were delicious. he had the chicken yakisobe and i had the tofu yakisobe. it tasted so good and was so filling i had to take it home to finish. the service was amazing, the young man was so attentive and very polite!! we will definitely be coming back 🙂

As someone who lives locally, Bamboo has become my go-to spot—I’m here at least once a week. This family-run restaurant is a true gem. The couple who own it bring over 20 years of experience from top London restaurants, and we’re so lucky they chose Swansea to share their amazing fusion of sushi and dim sum. Their son who manage the restaurant is friendly and helpful.
The food is fresh, flavourful, healthy and AMAZING. My absolute favorite is dragon roll, soup dumplings, chicken wings and grilled scallop, perfectly made every time. The creativity and quality of their dishes are unmatched, blending my two favorite cuisines into something truly special. Something you must not miss in Swansea!
