SO YUMMY!!! I ordered the Orange Chicken lunch combo and it came with a home made pork egg roll, soft drink, and rice. For only $15 you get quite the bang for your buck! Very flavorful and the broccoli adds a great touch. I also ordered the chili dumplings and pot stickers. The dumplings had a good bit of heat to them but nothing overwhelming, and the pot stickers were so flavorful especially with the ponzu sauce on the side!

We ordered in for the first time the other night, and ended up having a great dinner and plenty of lunch leftovers with what we ordered. The entire experience was excellent from the order being taken on the phone, to picking up and checking out. I think the owners were smart to focus on updates of the classic items (especially for Sanibel). I really appreciate what Don and his partners are doing to enlarge the culinary options here on island @ Bamboo and 400 Rabbits.

Excellent lunch. Everyone was so nice. The service was fantastic. We had the pot stickers and they were fantastic. We shared the moo shu chicken which was cooked perfectly with cabbage, carrots and onions served with perfect pancakes. Next we shared the beef and broccoli which was twice cooked, had a great texture and wonderful deep flavored sauce served with perfect sticky white rice. We will definitely return. Thank you for a great lunch!

Just had a great first dinner from Bamboo! Such a necessary addition to Sanibel!! We ordered for 7 people take out and the food was ready promptly and was hot when we got home (even after sitting in island traffic)! Everyone loved their meal. We ordered a range of menu items from fried rice, lo mein, general tsos, salt/pepper shrimp & honey walnut shrimp. The shrimp dishes were our favorites! Potstickers and egg drop soup were delicious too! The portions were smaller than typical Chinese takeout but we all truly enjoyed having pan Asian food on island finally!

We ordered several dishes. The fried rice w/chicken ($15, so not that expensive for Sanibel) had SOOOOO little chicken it astounded me!!! And the portion was tiny. It was sort of like white rice…..period. So $15 felt like robbery. Disappointing. The Spicy Beans were flavorful, and although I love a la dente, these were nearly raw. Being generous with 3 stars.

Absolute worst food (not just Asian food) we’ve ever had.
Ordered three lunch specials with sweet and sour chicken, General Tso’s, and Orange chicken. Tiniest portion we’ve ever seen; maximum of 5 tiny prices of bland, hard chicken with NO sauce and dry rice. There was literally no taste in each of the dishes. Spring roll was DRIPPING in grease and super hard. Will never try this place again. Disgusting.

Excellent! I ordered the orange chicken lunch combo which included a pork eggroll and beverage of choice. The ice tea was fresh and flavorful. The eggroll was crisp and delicious as was the orange chicken with rice. Highly recommend! Oh, and there is an awesome art gallery just steps away with 26 local artists!

Ordered out from Bamboo for a party of 5 tonight. We ordered pretty much everything on the menu and from the tasty potstickers to the zesty sweet and sour chicken to the pork egg roll the size of your head, it was a total home home run. We’ve been coming to Sanibel for over 20 years and Bamboo is a most welcome addition to the island food scene!

Some menu items were alright, but for the most part the food really wasn’t great. You can honestly find better stuff at Panda Express. On top of that it is just super over-priced. I know it’s a Sanibel restaurant and will be a bit more expensive, but the food just flat out isn’t worth what you pay for it.
