December 10th,2025- Bamboo House is one of the most impressive dining experiences on the island. The location alone sets it apart—perched directly across from the end of the Princess Juliana Airport runway, offering a spectacular, unobstructed view of planes arriving and departing. It’s a rare setting that immediately elevates the experience.
The atmosphere is exceptional. The property, once an old villa, has been transformed into a stylish, modern restaurant with a very cool, upscale vibe. As you pull up, the fire torches on either side of the entrance create a striking first impression. Inside, the design is stunning: glowing white lamps, elegant finishes, and a beautiful indoor dining area that feels both luxurious and inviting. A pool wraps around sections of the space, adding to the ambience.
The venue is split across two levels—the upper level for dining and the lower level for lounging outdoors. The lounge area has upbeat music, great energy, and a relaxed but refined feel. Whether you’re there for a meal or just drinks, the environment is one-of-a-kind.
Bamboo House is on the pricier side, but the atmosphere, views, and overall experience make it well worth it. If you’re visiting Saint Martin and want a memorable night out with a spectacular setting, this spot is absolutely worth adding to your list.

I was only in St. Maarten for a day and a half, so I had to be very selective as I could only choose one. After multiple people recommended Bamboo House, I decided to give it a try—and it exceeded my expectations in every possible way.
The food was exceptional, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. We ordered mainly shareables: Korean chicken wings, calamari, bamboo fried rice and veggie rolls. All cooked to perfection! The customer service was equally impressive. Our waiter was extremely professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Not to mention…the view…..so worth it! Ambiance – perfect! I highly recommend going when the sun is about to set!!!
When I return to St. Maarten, Bamboo House will absolutely be at the top of my list. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience!

The food was completely on point every bite was delicious, fresh, and super satisfying, I just wanted to keep ordering more. Every dish blew my mind. Zero complaints. The service… truly next level. Attentive, warm, and professional. They made the whole night feel special.

They were playing really good house music when we got there.
But as it was a Thursday, they had live music later on. Sadly the singer was “cruise ship” quality and completely incongruent with the style of the restaurant and the cool vibes.
The food was good but not amazing.
The cocktails were indeed excellent. I had the fresh mango and sparking water one and my partner had the mezcal one.

We very much enjoyed our evening. I had was apprehensive of the reviews for slow service, but everything went smoothly for us. The staff was attentive, and our meal came at a nice cadence. The view was lovely, we will definitely will be back for their sunset happy hour.

Very aesthetic inside and out and the drinks and food were so delicious! All of my servers were very attentive and checking in. The ambiance is lovely as well and the live band throughout the evening was so fun. Definitely an amazing spot and will come back during my next stay!

Don’t come here if you’re on a tight budget, but if you’re looking for a memorable experience and a wonderful atmosphere then it makes for a great evening venue. Once you reach the venue at the top of the hill then the setting and views are impressive. Yes a lot of the views over the island are obstructed by nearby buildings and rooftops, but the open pools and rooftop decking give a sense of being on top of the world.
Staff are very welcoming and as professional as the venue suggests, and there’s plenty of tables throughout the venue inside and out, as well as bar seating, but at popular times it’s worth ensuring you have a reservation.
There is a ‘happy hour’ which covers two for one drinks as well as a discount on the small plates from the food menu. This makes for a great value way of tasting a number of the food items on offer and shows the high quality offered – presentation and taste is exceptional and despite being included in the offer each dish comes in a good portion size.
The music makes for a great atmosphere and the lighting at night adds to the vibe brilliantly. One of the most memorable places I went to on the island and I’d love to return.

The vibes were hot. Walked in and immediately forgot how to act. Every waiter and bartender looked like they were recruited from a casting call, but special shoutout to the hot young man waiter (very much an adult, thank you) who casually ruined my ability to focus on the menu just by existing.
Food was good – tasty, well done, but I wouldn’t have been mad if it came out a little hotter (temperature-wise… because the staff already handled the rest). Drinks were absolute fire. Strong, delicious, and bold enough to convince me I needed “just one more.”
Come for the food, stay for the drinks, and try not to fall in love with your waiter. Highly recommend.

Beautiful setting on a hill with stunning views of the Island. I stopped by for lunch but unfortunately they open at 5. Spoke to the very friendly kitchen staff and took some pictures. A little tricky to park up a narrow steep slope.I hope to return for dinner and catch the amazing scenery at sunset. Stunning at night!! A must visit!
