During our family’s day visit to Bonham, we discovered Bamboo House as a dining option. We are extremely pleased with our decision to dine here. Honestly, this ranks among the finest Chinese cuisine I have ever experienced. Each member of our party ordered a different chicken entree. Every dish was prepared flawlessly, with tender white meat chicken that required no knife for cutting. The accompanying sauces were light and exquisite. It was truly a delightful culinary experience.

This place was hidden treasure for many years and to many it still is. We drive from Denison although there are other choices nearby usually on our birthdays or anniversaries.
It has gone through many managers and some changes. Prices have increased a lot. But I am picky about sushi and honestly finding fresh decent sushi this far inland is a miracle.
We have not had a bad meal here yet. The sushi is always very good. The Pho is very good. The chicken fried rice is very good and the combo plates all very good. Portion size is great, you’ll take home left overs in most cases.
We’ll continue to come here.

We visited Bamboo House with a large party, and they handled everything beautifully. The staff was attentive and efficient, making sure everyone was comfortable and well taken care of. The menu offered a great representation of their dishes, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. My fellow diners were especially impressed by how authentic the food tasted, definitely a standout in the area. I had a great experience and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend for groups or anyone craving quality Asian cuisine!

This was our second time here. The first time, the server was great, tonight, not so much. The food was delicious!
Edit, we have been back at least 9 times. The food is always good. Our favorite server is Chelsea. She is always friendly and happy to see us.

We have been a couple of times, service is always wonderful. Our first time, our server did warn us that the sushi rolls tend to take a bit longer. Knowing that, we put in our order for 2 rolls right away, then figure out the rest of our order. (We usually order 6-10 rolls depending on what entrees we get)
I tried their calamari last visit, I didn’t love it,nothing was wrong with it, just wasn’t what I was expecting. It had a mild sauce, which was nice. But it was served on lettuce, so I think that threw me off. But, that did give me the chance to have their fried rice, that was definitely different than any other fried rice we have ever had. I couldn’t identify what made it so different, but it was really good. Much better than the Hibachi fried rice we had the day before.
They do have a picture menu, that was absolutely no help, everything looked so dang delicious it made us want even more..lol All of the rolls came out looking beautiful like the pictures (I did not look for the calamari)

I am very pleased with this restaurant over all.
We ordered the Kung Pao Chicken dinner, and egg rolls appetizer, we also ordered the Sesame Chicken dinner and Wonton Soup. The food was excellent, and the service was great. Although I asked for steamed rice with my meal and instead received fried. We ate up at the bar and very much enjoyed it also, as it seemed like half the town was here, and there was no table to sit us at. I say that in an endearing manner. This place gets an impeccable rating. We shall return.
