We got sesame chicken, general chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Came with egg rolls. Good stuff. Everyone said that they would eat there again. Yeah ok. It’s kind of a little hole in the wall place, but I just went there for food not atmosphere. Good food

Used to eat here all the time when I was in highschool. I had since moved to a new state, but after moving back to TN, I remembered this restaurant and was delighted to see it’s still around! Got the same thing I always ordered, quart of chicken fried rice and spring rolls, and it’s the same as I remember it. Instant nostalgia.

The orange chicken is made with chicken thighs, which is not a great cut of meat for this preparation. We much prefer chicken breast in this dish. Chicken thighs are meant to be cooked much longer at a lower temperature, so if you fry them for orange chicken, the connective tissue has not had time to render down and the results is fatty and chewy pieces.

Very odd experience at this restaurant. Let me start by saying there was no one, except workers, at the restaurant when we arrived. We seated ourselves & then realized we had to actually go to the counter to order our food. When the food was brought to us it was all in “to go” containers minus lids for the soup! We had to set up our plastic silverware & napkins.
Let’s talk about the food now. We started with mixed wonton & eggdrop soup & it was served with the typical noodles to put in the soup. However, the noodles were stale but before I could say anything our meals were served so I pushed the soup aside. My husband ordered pork egg foo young which came with fried rice & gravy. I ordered shrimp lomein which also came w/fried rice & both came with egg rolls. At first sight, we were surprised to see all orientals working there yet the food was very Americanized (lots of peas, carrots, etc). We were skeptical about tasting the food as it looked very bland & unappealing. We finally tried our dishes & realized there actually was NO flavor whatsoever!! I’ve never had bland Chinese food!! When my husband grabbed the container of “gravy” it was very dark sauce that tasted like it should’ve been on the lomein not the egg foo young.
This was our first experience with this restaurant & it will be our last! $40+ later we threw it all away!!! Needless to say, the little bit of tasting we did repeated on both of us all night!!!

I’ve never had a bad meal here. Both lunch and dinner portions are good sized so you don’t go hungry and feel unsatisfied afterwards.
