We ate at Bamboo Kitchen for take-out dinner last night. My husband suggested it with the caveat that his last Pad Thai meal was dry. It could have been a fluke so we tried it again. But it wasn’t.
I ordered the Sweet & Sour Chicken with an eggroll.
Both of them had a chewy, rubbery, and dry exterior The chicken was so tough to eat that it was difficult to cut into small pieces to chew. My dogs treated it as a rubber bone. 2/3 of the container was rice, about 10 chewy chickens, 2 slices each of peppers and pineapple. SO disappointed with my meal.
The husband had Curry Fried Rice which had modest flavor with more than mild heat as requested. It also was dry and chewy.
Now we know.

Average Asian food, I got sweet and sour chicken with lomein noodles and an egg roll. The sweet and sour chicken was very batter heavy and both that and the egg roll were very greasy like the oil they were fried in wasn’t hot enough. The lomein noodles were okay.

Delicious food, hot and fresh, incredibly tasty Tom yum soup, and crispy spring roll. The pad Thai was great, with a smoky flavor. Takeout order was correct and was ready quickly, despite several changes I asked for. Staff was friendly without being overbearing. I couldn’t ask for more from a takeout place.

Got the small sesame chicken, small orange chicken, chicken egg roll and sesame balls all for less than $25. Wow. In these times, finding GOOD QUALITY food at a reasonable price is almost impossible! The food was actually good, the rice was fresh the broccoli was good, and most importantly the meat wasn’t over sauced or so little all you could taste was the fried. That’s also hard to find in take out. Was super impressed and love the sesame balls as well! This solved my take out aversion. 🙂

It’s been so unbelievably long, years even that I’ve had orange chicken with actual oranges. Unbelievably amazing. Great value, great portion sizes, love this place. It replaced Chen’s but with a better quality. Will order again! (There was more broccoli but I already ate it.) pepper steak was incredible as well.

If you want bland food, this place will make it for you. We ordered the Shrimp Lo Mein, Pork Yaki Soba and Tofu Fried Rice. None of it had any flavor. I even told them to please make the yaki soba spicy, but there wasn’t a chili or red pepper flake to be found. Even the egg roll and spring rolls were as tasteless as crunchy paper. It was our first time ordering food here.

Excellent food, fast service, and good prices. Veggies were fresh and crisp, good portions of protein in each entree, everything was well seasoned. I think we’ve already been back 3 times since our first visit and each time has been consistently great. Glad to have this spot in the neighborhood and just wish I had an excuse to get here at lunch to take advantage of their specials.

Ordered general tzos chicken and triple delight. The entres were very good, fair amount of quality tender chicken with a VERY good sauce.. Broccoli was a little waterlogged Cause it was probably frozen no big deal.. The tasty general TZOS chicken made up for it. The fried rice was absolutely terrible. That’s why I could only give this place three stars. It was completely bland and flavorless. How about adding some chinese chicken powder onion garlic etc.. Come on you guys have such tasty entres Improve your rice and I’ll be a frequent flyer.p.s. This was ordered through Uber Eats.

Restaurant is small but clean and organized. We got chicken pad thai, beef lo mein and kung pao chicken. Also some egg rolls. Everything was great and was a decent portion size. Tasted fresh, even my toddler liked everything. Would go back, prices are super reasonable for the quality of food
