The fried rice and lo mein tasted severely under seasoned. We also got 5 sushi rolls…one of which was a spicy tuna and came with only 2 pieces and no spice. Another roll came with a big glop of mayo which was supposed to be spicy and it was quite literally just all Heinz mayo. And the other 3 rolls were just mediocre. I can say nothing I ate was worth the 163 we paid.

Great sushi here! Definitely one of the better places for sushi in the area. Other plates and apps were also good. Service can be spotty and it gets loud in the dining room.
Only complaint would be the $25 min per person at table. Didn’t impact our meal cost, but I could see this causing an expensive meal for people with kids.
They have a buffet if you’re into sharing with strangers.
I’d recommend this spot for a low key sit down sushi meal!

Great food, Cooked well, Made well, Taste is above and beyond all others in the area in my opinion. Although they are indeed consider on the more “Expensive” side of the spectrum, when comparing to other locations with far less quality food/ lack of Taste overall, it’s actually become very similar price wise and if anything, you might pay a dollar or two more per dish here for truly yummy quality food that leaves your belly HAPPY and FULL! Wirh the only issue I’ve run into being that I can’t stop eating the stuff because it’s so dang good! Causing my stomach to reach it’s limit plus some hahaha We are happy to pay the slight extra here especially without having to deal with the random “Chewy” (Yuck!) peices of chicken/beef you end up spitting out due to the obvious lower quality food you get at other subpar Asian Restaurants. Plus most importantly, we have neve had any kind of upset stomach or issues after eating at Bamboo. It’s definitely our go to Asian restaurant in the area, especially for there Chinese style food! We also love the local Thai food restaurant located in Acton (with the long name that starts with a B I can never pronounce hahaha) which also has very high quality, amazing food! Especially the chicken skewers and peanut sauce… Mmmm but the menu is very different without the Chinese style food and sushi rolls that bamboo has to offer. So I would say this is the most yummy, high quality, greatest Asian food you can find anywhere is the area! Just my family’s opinion anyways : ) with the Thai place being our next favorite when we want to switch things up a bit. Overall if you want quality food with each dish having it’s own special Taste that might making you eat way to much of it, then this is the place to go or order take our from! Highly Recommended! 5 stars without question! Yummmyyyyyyyyyy!

It’s a fine dining restaurant. The ambience is great and service is decent. It’s a busy place and there was about 10-15 minutes wait time when we visited this place. Not a suggested place for vegetarian folks.
A two star rating is due to the lack of vegetarian options. I would say it’s a biased review and I had a limited number of veg options to choose from. And most of the available vegetarian options contain mushrooms which further narrowed down the scope. My friends enjoyed the place. Apparently the rest of the menu is good.
Another reason for a low rating is the pricing. The food is not great and it cost me about $27 for a vegetable delight and spring rolls. Rice costs you extra.

I love this place. I would definitely call myself a Chinese food connoisseur because I love trying Chinese food places but it’s hard to find a place where I like everything unlike this place. The beef teriyaki sticks are to die for, the crab rangoons were great ,the pork fried rice was great. This is my fave place. It seems very upscale and fancy. The waiter was also super nice and service was quick and hot. Highly recommend.

The food is great here. The sushi are fresh. I order sushi with tempura shrimp and they are very tasty and crispy. This is an American Chinese food and they don’t have a lot of traditional Chinese dish. My favorite was shrimp and peapod stem. The waiter are very nice and very accommodating for my friend who has gluteny allergy. The restaurant also have glotent free menu.

I walked over to have dinner after flying in from out of state. All staff was very nice and made sure all needs taken care of. Solid sushi. Would definitely eat here again the next time I am in the area.

What a treat! We enjoyed our dinner and had excellent service. Loved the crystal scallop and pad Thai. Excellent cocktails. The decor is so relaxing and interesting. We were in a quieter room and there were large parties in another room. Tables are spread out so you can hear your table conversation.
