So my first time here and will be my last time. First off all when my food came out I needed a extra plate and was told they don’t have extra plates and I look around and notice few people here so I’m confused why you don’t have extra plate. He said they all dirty so I say will can’t you have dishwasher wash one then. He said he will bring one once available. So I have to empty my plate with biscuits and put with my crab puffs. So I can have a plate to put my sweat and sour chicken on. Then I get 2 bowls of rice and one rice was old and the other fresh. Like why would u even put that on our table like that. Finally when he comes back around with a plate. I tell him don’t worry but take that rice it’s old. He brings me another rice fresh. By this time I’m done with my food. Never even got a refill on any of our drinks. So I was then just over it and ready to leave. So nope I won’t be returning and the food wasn’t good at all. But I did like the crab puffs ( fresh) my brother did like his beef and broccoli also. Ticket was $50 so not worth it all!

Found this place on Google maps and I do not regret it. The woman at the front desk was really nice and welcoming, our server was really chill and overall the service was great. When the food came I did not expect it to be as fresh as it was which gave me the impression that they care
about the quality of ingredients that they use. The Orange Chicken and the Pan Fried Dumplings especially were SUPER fresh and tender so I recommend those. It’s a small place,and gets a bit crowded over the weekends but definitely a place I’ll go back to again. Bonus points for it having good food so close to my area

I was craving Chinese food while in the Houston area and had heard great things about Bamboo Cafe, so I decided to swing by and give it a try. I definitely don’t regret it. As soon as you walk in, you’re hit with a beautiful aroma. The place was PACKED! While I stood in line to place my order, more and more customers kept walking in and joining the line—this place was seriously busy.
The menu is extensive, but I kept it simple with a chicken and broccoli platter, fried rice, and chicken fried dumplings. The chicken and broccoli in brown sauce was SUPER amazing—I inhaled the platter. The fried rice was perfectly cooked, and the chicken dumplings were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
No exaggeration, this is the best Chinese food I’ve had in my life.

Food was great! Santiago took my order correctly, and made amazing conversation with me, really good kid with a nice attitude! Whole place was great overall. The food was good too, I recommend the salt and pepper shrimp.

Only been here once, but the first thing I’d say about this place is the food was fresh. At least ours was & you don’t usually get that with Chinese food. I see complaints about the pricing, but to me it seemed average. My son said the orange chicken was crunchy just like he likes!
Customer service was okay. They were able to accommodate my wife’s vegetarian request & she was pleased, so no complaints here! Oh, and they have bean curd (tofu), too.

I’ve been eating at this restaurant for quite a while but the last several times I’ve been in here the food has went downhill. We eat here today 2/6/2026 hey, my wife ordered her regular dinner and it didn’t have the peppers like it normally has and didn’t have any flavor whatsoever. This has been happening a lot at this restaurant I used to wreck amend this place highly but now I tell everyone not to go there because their food is not as good as it used to be time to find another Chinese restaurant because I would not be bringing my business back here anymore as well as I will tell all my friends that I made a bad choice for them

Terrible service. They are rude when you come in, I literally sat inside for 7 minutes waiting for someone to help me with my order after two servers seen me waiting and instead of greeting or getting help they sat and held a conversation for 5 minutes. On top of that every time I order food from here they’re always missing an item I ordered and I’m chargedp for it after repeatedly telling them, they still continue to do it. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt repeatedly but today was the last straw.

I was highly disappointed to see this is what they served me for my spring rolls. There is no reason to serve someone clearly burnt spring rolls.This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants so it’s shocking to see this is what they give paying customers.

Tried this place with my boss tonight for a late dinner after work. The Triple Delight Sizzling Platter with chicken, beef, and shrimp on a bed of vegetables and sauce, served (you guessed it) sizzling hot, gets high marks for presentation, but the sauce was a bit bland. Service was on point and friendly.
