Tried this place out because it was recommended by a coworker. I got the Beef with Broccoli combination with Egg Roll. I thought the beef was a little soggy/mushy for my liking and they were a little stingy on the beef but the fried rice was really good and so was the egg roll. Not sure I’ll be clammoring to go back but it’s a good option overall.

It tastes a Japanese taste. Grilled dumplings are on the menu. Chinese food dumplings are boiled one. Grilled one is Japanese style. I regularly visit Buffalo from Japan since 1994, but there is no food suitable for the Japanese mouth easily. The atmosphere of the shop is different, but there was a restaurant of the same name “Bamboo China”. At that time, there was no one to fit the Japanese mouth completely in Buffalo. There was nothing except “Bamboo China”. I was brought by a representative, so I don’t know the location. I found same name shop by chance and I ate a Shrimp Lomen. Recently, Japan has a lot of salty seasoning, but this is not salty and it was delicious enough to taste.

Ordered the lunch special Beef and Broccoli. It came with a free soup, so I chose Hot and Sour. It wasn’t the greatest soup that I ever had. It lack heat and it wasn’t sour. But the beef tender and broccoli was crisp. The sauce was delicious and the fried rice was pretty good. Nice size portion at a reasonable price.

Bamboo China is literally my favorite chinese restaurant EVER! I have gone here for about 5-6 years and nothing comes close to this place. The food is delicious and the employees are always nice.

The best eggrolls outside of Canada / NYC. they were deliciously fresh. The use of bean sprouts were the hidden jewel that is rarely found in many restaurants. Hunan chicken & veggies with cashews were tasted fresh & amazing.

New to neighborhood and ordered there during the CV hysteria. Was fairly happy with the Hunan Chicken. The fried rice was plentiful. The woman was friendly too. I don’t know what happened, but I found the Hot and Sour soup to be pale and tasteless – as if it were only cornstarch and solid ingredients.

Man oh man. It’s awesome. I have GI issues so have to eat more vegetables and protein to keep it in check. So started eating Chinese more often like 5 days a week. I was dissapointed with other Chinese restaurants when I moved here. I thought maybe locals like the food the way it is. However thought of changing my regular place and man did I do it right. The flavour of hunan chicken awesome. The ratio of vegetables awesome. Beyond all, their packaging goes way beyond anyone else’s. They take extra time to wrap with Saran wrap for my chicken not to spill. Also the aluminum trays as opposed to plastic ones. All in all it will be my new regular spot from now on. Only downside is they close early and the sauce was having more sodium so will be asking them to make it lighter next time. All in all no complaints and I would rate this higher than any other Chinese restaurants in the area.

I was going to have sweet and sour pork ,but they told mr the chicken was better. So I had that! Took it home and I hate to say it but it was the worst I ever had. I swear to God I can make better refried rice then them. And the chicken was deep fried yuck!! Won’t go back. Wonder how this place stays in business
