I’ve ordered from the Tucker location countless times and always enjoyed the food. The Atlanta location leaves much to be desired. The pizza is never crispy (extremely doughy and floppy), and the sauce is bland. I’ve ordered three times since moving closer to the city in hopes that it would match up to what I remember but it just doesn’t. Luckily there are plenty of tasty options close by.

Friday night is Pizza Night in my household and we always order from Bambinelli’s. Our go-to is the Veg Pizza and Tiramisu. We have been ordering from the Plasamour Dr. location for almost 4 years and it is always fantastic. We have also ordered various pasta dishes, salads, apps, & desserts and everything is delicious and consistent! I would love to know the recipe to their marinara sauce because it is sooooo good. I had family from out of state stay with me a few months ago; we ordered from Bams one night and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. My mom ordered the Eggplant Parm and said it was the best she ever had. This is a great family-owned establishment and I highly recommend it.

Tried their spaghetti from Uber Eats on sale. Was delicious! Sauce very rich and portion sizes HUGE. Ordered again today and same thing! One other person tried it and loved it also. The bread and mozzarella sticks are good too.

I ordered take out so I can’t comment on the atmosphere. I got the lasagna and chicken piccatta. Both were delicious. The rolls were amazing as well.

Always hot and simply delicious! Great take out service, too!
I live in Gwinnett but love to get my carb dinner before my Atlanta Track Club races on Friday nights with my running partner. Love the BOGO specials each week. Thank you!

Absolutely disappointed. We’ve been going here for years, before the son took over. The gluten free options aren’t gluten free they’re gluten avoidant. Rice not pasta … Come on. That’s super lazy for an Italian restaurant. The pizza is cauliflower not made with gluten free flour. When you travel to Italy, everyone you go has real gf pizza and pasta. Not some sorry cauliflower and rice options. The prices are high for what you get. The son should have gotten the one restaurant all the way right and not try have multiple locations. Sad to see Bonnie’s place spiraling.

I ordered to-go thru Door Dash. There was about 10-15 minutes between my order being ready and receiving it.

I ordered …
2x fettuccine with marinara on the side
Baked ziti
Cajun Pasta (medium spice)
Garlic rolls
Mozzarella appetizer
Side of Alfred
Side of mixed sauce

None of the food was hot, and only the rolls and ziti were fairly warm.

First off, the garlic rolls and mixed sauce were AWESOME!!! And it’s a good thing, b/c that’s all I was able to eat.

The mozzarella appetizer was room temperature. It really seemed that it was never cooked thoroughly. My daughter and I each ate one, and threw them out.

I had 3 bites of the Cajun pasta, and bowed out. Somehow it was both flavorless and vile at the same time??? I tried the side of Alfredo, thinking adding some would improve the flavor. Nope. Because it tasted just like the “Cajun” sauce; flavorless yet terrible.

The fettuccine noodles were fine. A little mushy, but fine. Same with the ziti. Its somewhat shocking how soft and gummy ALL noodles were, as it’s an Italian restaurant.

Finally, the marinara sauce… I don’t know the exact ingredients in marinara. But I know it contains more than just tomatoes. However, that’s all this sauce tastes like. Tomatoes. No basil. No garlic. Luckily it was on the side. Because it was yet another food the family agreed was inedible.

So, when all is said and done, four of us ate (delicious!) garlic rolls, 4oz of mixed sauce, one order of baked ziti, and less than 2/5 of the mozzarella appetizer.

This is the sincerely the worst food I’ve had in years. A $100 mistake.

I’ve been getting takeout from here for years and it’s some of the best pizza in the city, best garlic knots in the city, and hands down some of the best lasagna. This is one of the few places that when I order takeout it is still piping hot by the time I get home. Bambinelli’s also provided wedding catering for us recently and everyone absolutely loved it. Guests loved the eggplant parmigiana and it was gone before anyone could get seconds. The takeout portions are huge and I was pleased that catering portions were also huge.

So I recently tried out a new restaurant and ordered their lasagna and shrimp scampi with a side of broccoli. Gotta be honest, it was pretty average. Nothing super special to rave about. I wasn’t exactly wowed. The lasagna had way too much ricotta cheese for my liking. Overall, it was just okay.
