If you’re in the area or staying in a cabin around the area, I’d definitely swing by this place for some food! We had a half a rack of ribs (sauce on side), with a loaded BBQ baked potato and a house salad to split between the two of us. Y’all, these ribs were amazing, done how they’re supposed to be: falling off the bone. The baked potato was as big as the dang box! We got ours with nacho cheese rather than shredded. I think this is what they serve in heaven… we also got a slice of apple pie, but didn’t have the room to eat it. We had to take it home. You can tell from the dining area and building this little rinky BBQ had exactly what you were wanting out of BBQ. Definitely will be bringing out of town family here!

Warning! Traveling around NE AL today, I stopped in to grab the chicken nachos togo for $13, wonderful, quick service, restrooms were clean. Happy with my choice to pass McDonalds and Jacks I found a nice comfy spot to picnic when I saw what they gave me. They obviously get their ingredients from the local Dollar General. This was ballpark concession stand food at best, yellow round nacho chips, orange “cheese” sauce smothered in beanie weenies that someone picked the weenies out of. So gross! Worst part was the BBQ chicken was from a can! The closest this chicken has ever been to smoke is the Marlboro Red breath on the old ladies at the Tyson packing plant…and the watery liquid at the bottom of my plate proves they didn’t strain the perfectly cubed chicken from its juices. I don’t trust this place, very deceptive. The best part was the squirt of sour cream and pickled jalapeños, I couldn’t even eat half of it but I guess this meal did its job, I’m not hungry anymore. Big Tip: Do not stop here for quality food it is not a good representation of AL BBQ

I am from Boaz where there is a 2 or 3 BBQ places . I drove about hour and a half to eat some different BBQ. I bought 3 large sandwiches with pulled pork, coleslaw slaw and BBQ sauce. Usually one is all I can eat but l eat all 3 of them back to back. They were just that good and I will definitely go back.

Great Pork BBQ here as I’ve bought some many times.. I usually get the one pound Family Pack with two sides.. I recommend the baked beans and potato salad.. both are very good.. they also have hot Carolina style BBQ Sauce.. the service is always great and the employees are professional and friendly.. you can call ahead for pickup if you don’t want to dine in.. they do have a drive through here..

After passing this location dozens of times over the past couple of years, decided to stop in looking forward to a great BBQ meal, however, expectations far exceeded reality. Customer service is very friendly and meal arrived in a timely manner.
My meal was the BBQ Platter ($12) with 2 sides: Baked Beans and Mac & Cheese (+1). Sad to say NO Brunswick Stew here (minus 1 star). The pork was smokey and tender, and the BBQ sauce was tasty. The beans: looked and tasted like canned Bush beans. Nothing special by any means. The mac & cheese was terrible: tasteless and watery (minus 1 star). I added BBQ sauce to give it some flavor. SKIP THE SIDES – Just order the sandwich.
Partner’s meal was the 1/4 rack of baby back ribs with 2 sides ($13). View photo to visualize how 1/2 the ribs were served: burnt beyond edible (minus 1 star), which was too bad because the remaining 2 ribs weren’t too bad, but would not order again.
Might stop in sometime in the future to try the brisket but if in the mood for ribs will stop at the rib Shack down the road next time.

Weather November 12th 2025 order double cheeseburger combo. Big beans were good hamburger. Not so good cold undercooked. Could not eat at all. Don’t know if I’ll go back again.

I really wanted to love this place. My husband and I stopped on our way home to GA. The grill of smoke going out front is a good tactic to bringing people in. I ordered nachos without the knowledge of it being absolutely covered in artifical cheese sauce. I assumed it would be shredded cheese, assuming was my fault. My husband ordered what he thought was a brisket plate and instead got a little bit of chopped brisket for a sandwich and a handful of sides. I’ll take that it was our fault for not knowing these things beforehand, but probably won’t be back.
