The pizza is great so was the service. It could be loud place if busy but when I was there it was very easy to talk and understand the people I was with.

Balz south
It’s new
Very nice
Great for bigger groups
High top tables, regular tables, or sit at the bar, you can see a TV from any spot including the mens bathroom , I’m thinking it is a 65” , if you’re not interested in the TV you can gaze out the full windows,
No wait, staff is excellent, food is great, can get noisy because of the different games on but if you don’t like that I’m sure you wouldn’t go to a bar anyway
Plenty of parking
This stop we enjoyed
Wings and potato skins
Will continue to stop here

The new Balz @ Prairie District has a great atmosphere for a sports bar, however there service is going to be the demise of the is location. We went on a Sunday our waitress’s lack of knowledge of the happy hour beer menu was the first problem. She told our table that certain beers drafts were included in the Happy Hour. Then our waitress messed up the food orders for 3 out 6 meals at our table including charging a full price hamburger instead of a kids meal. Finally our waitress created a scene by arguing loudly about the mistakes on our check and refusing to fix them or get a manager to help. The last part about this trip is that the burgers lacked flavor, they tasted as if they were cut off the chub with no salt and papper even added to it.I truly hope that things are tightened up and better training is done before this location lose more people amd goes out of business.

Fun time and close to I-80. The deviled eggs might be the start of the new Covid, lol. Maybe just a bad day? I had a bad day after IYKWIM. The staff was great though. Love ya Sam and friends!

Had lunch. Wednesday special was hot roast beef and it never disappoints! Service was quick and friendly. Soda snob, and they have great fountain pop here. Atmosphere is nice. Was packed and could still have a conversation. Always a go to for me for lunch
