Plentiful options and done well! The kouign-amann is executed perfectly, they have great bread and seasonal options, one of my personal favs is the maple Madeline – tastes like a pancake with crispy edges! Prices are up there but in this case you definitely get what you paid for

I was looking to book the Balthazar restaurant in the city but this also showed up on Google so being 45 mins away from us we decided to go pick up some goodies from here. There is a line outside of just 2-4 people and it moves pretty quickly. We got a bunch of things to bring back home to share. Everything was delicious. Got their sourdough bread, almond croissant, mini blueberry danish pastry, scones, pigs in a blanket, crispy ginger and molasses cookies. Bougie and oddly old fashioned at the same time come to mind when you enter the bakery.

Much smaller inside than I thought, but a steady stream of baked goods to offer you a great assortment of small batches of pastries throughout the day. Oddly, disappointed with the croissant, not crispy and flaky, more bread like. Price is higher, but expected for higher quality. Love that some items are offered in different sizes so I can just sample. Staff friendly and nicely arranged purchase in box for transport. Will need to come back to try the breads.

Balthazar Bakery was bustling! It seems everything is baked on premises. It seems large from the outside until you enter, it’s a walk through. You may have to wait on a line outside till there’s space inside. They have baguettes, rolls, croissants, danishes, and coffee. I got a cold brew. It smelled amazing, service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be back again!
