Went for a weekend trip, the food was just ok. Loaded fries were amazing, but the rest of our food was barely warm. Service completely sucked. The waitresses constantly forgot to bring even water. My son got the fish & fries and she didn’t bring his tater sauce out till we waved her down about 5 mins after we got the food. At one point I heard a lady asking about seating where she was at and wanting food, the waitresses told her because the bar was so busy she would have to put her order in at the bar herself? Very odd. I guess with it being a Saturday day the drinkers got the best service? Next time we will eat prior to going to the splash pad.

Unfortunately, our experience at Balmoral Bar & Grill was disappointing. When our party of four arrived, we were handed menus and ordered four margaritas, thinking they were $2 each as listed—since it was Tuesday. A few minutes later, the waitress came back and told us the menu was outdated and the margarita deal was no longer valid. That was frustrating and felt misleading.
We asked what the cheapest item was, and she told us $2 tacos, which we didn’t see anywhere on the menu. We gave them a try, but honestly, they were underwhelming. According to everyone in our group, they were worse than Taco Bell—not what we expected from a sit-down restaurant.
While the environment was nice and the staff polite, the inconsistent pricing and low food quality really took away from the experience. Sadly, this just wasn’t the best dining experience for us.

This was a fantastic place for a resort day pass! We had a group of 29 kids and adults, arrived at open and everyone was accommodating and friendly from the beginning. Enough to do for all ages, lay by the pool, check out the water slide, splash pad and bucket dump and even the hot tub. The bartender Dave was great from the beginning, kept up with all of us and was friendly and smiling. There were also 2 servers that brought food out to us and although I asked their names, I can’t remember them—but they were friendly and attentive all day. Food was GREAT and unexpected, as I thought we would just have “pool food”, but it was truly restaurant quality. Thanks to everyone, we will be back!

First off I used to love this place but now that they are under new management (Bar and Grill) I had the most horrible experience for my daughter’s 10th birthday celebration. I took a package for $550 which included 3 pizzas and 2 pitchers of soda which was cool. On my arrival the Manager was HORRIBLE. A bully who wasn’t pleasant at all.
Long story short I didn’t realise she was holding on to the fact that I paid the balance of $450 five days prior to the party. $100 paid in advance to hold the place was paid a month in advance. She later said well she paid the remaining balance late hence the reason we got the shitty end of the stick. Lo and behold when the pizza came ( by the way I ordered 3 more pizza at $15 a box (medium pizza) only to realized the pizza was a dry flat bread with some cheese and sauce. Every single kid complained and said why it was so hard and dry and thin. It was HORRIBLE.
I went to the manager and she was no help at all and after a few minutes told us to return the pizza after the hungry kids who had been in the pool all day had no choice but to eat the pizza. I hate writing this review because I know God doesn’t like ugly but frankly I’m trying to save EVERY PARENTS AND GUEST THIS PAIN. The bartender young black man made it much better when he politely came and apologized.

Once upon a time my wife and I called this our favorite spot in town. But new management has taken over. Gone is the delicious food, in its place is school lunchroom level garbage. And as you can imagine it was a ghost town when we got there. The staff seem equally depressed with affairs. After countless visits and bringing friends, it is sad to say we won’t be coming back after this huge drop in quality.

Bartender was awesome even though I only had a sweet tea. The Mac n cheese bites were some of the best I’ve had cheesy and crispy. I also had the fish and chips. The fish was haddock white flakey and moist. Super delicious the beer batter was crispy and good as well. The fries were like shoe string fries they were seasoned nice but not my kinda fry.
The place also has bands on certain nights and different kinds of shows. I will be making my way back there soon to try some more food and maybe catch a show as well. Give them a try if Yur in the area

Great hidden gem! The day I went the weather was beautiful and the food delicious. One of my pet peeves is food lacking seasoning but everything was full of flavor. Will have to return to visit waterpark.

Every time I come here, the bartender karie is very responsive and friendly. I also enjoy the scenery at the pool area and it looks very good friendly. I had a conversation with the bar owner or a manager or whoever he is the other day. He’s a pretty awesome guy as well so overall great place and will definitely visit it again.
