My family and I have been regular customers at this bakery, always have been satisfied but during the past year things have changed. Customer service improved but now taste is lacking. This was a “Rosca de Reyes” very disappointed with it. It was hard, maybe it was from days before, not sure.

UPDATE: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2023, 3:39PM: The only change I saw was the Halloween decorations. Other than that, no changes. The pastries and empanadas are delicious, as usual, the coffee some of the best in Union City, and the customer service is excellent, as usual.
UPDATE: FRIDAY, MARCH 24, 2023, 12:15AM: I was at Balleza Bakery several hours ago, and the person who took my order was new, to me. The cafe con leche remains delicious, and the baked offerings remain delicious, too. If they raised their prices, I could not tell.

This is probably the WORST bakery in a Hudson County. If i can give them 0 stars, I would. I ordered a Rosca de Reyes from there today and never received it. It wasn’t ready for 6pm and they don’t decide to call or anything, they are very unprofessional.

What a horrible customer service, I called to make an order and the person who was on the phone wasn’t able to answer the simplest questions, and she was rude. I was asking her about the prices and she said “ between 18-45 dollars, I won’t be able to tell you exactly because I don’t know, if you like it good if not you can find it somewhere else”. I was like it was just a question you don’t have to be rude!! When I went to buy in person, I was waiting in the counter for 15 minutes while the clerk was in the back joking and talking to the people in the back, when she came back she treated me rude and was upset I bother her.. over all horrible customer service.
