Love Monica , all staff- Andrew great too! Fab specials always- creative and delicious. The ambiance is nicely comfortable. My guy loves the fri /sat prime rib. I love to try the specials. Tonight I ordered the La Scala Salad with chicken –

Got a chicken avocado sandwich for takeout, 16 dollars. Pathetically small piece of chicken that didnt even take up the whole roll, the “avocado” was just brown guacamole, barely any cheese. Had to order dinner from somewhere else.

Ballast is always consistent. It is a hidden-gem in Quincy. The Ballast Burger is absolutely fantastic and $9 deal on Tuesdays. The service is always A+ from start to finish. Overall, a really solid spot that I enjoy going back to and recommend to anyone looking for a great burger and top-notch service.

We had one of the best lunches we have ever had! I had a salmon burger with a caesar salad and my husband had a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Both were soo delicious! Joe was our delightful server! He was perfect for the job and we could have taken him home he was so naturally nice and professional!

They only have high barstool type seats, which are wildly uncomfortable, especially if you are older. For us it basically ruined the meal to the point we had to keep standing up to stretch our legs.
Food was great, service was pleasant and efficient, decor is clean and modern, ladies room immaculately clean and price, for lunch was reasonable. It’s also relatively quiet, so you can have a nice conversation. Location is perfect for us, but sadly, we won’t be back. Better seating would make this place a winner.

Came for Sunday brunch. Extensive cocktail selection, ours were good, blizzard of ’78, and some take on a mule. The sangria was not available because they “could not find it”. My meal was missing an element, house made jam, was told it was coming. Asked for it again when I was halfway through the meal, did not come until I was finished. Very odd that getting a little container of jam was that difficult. No apology or acknowledgement. Overall not memorable, no reason to come back

Food was decent, service was good. Took a little while for the entrees to come out, but otherwise had a great experience. Menu was good too, had a lot of interesting options. I’d recommend the octopus and shishito peppers, both were delicious.

Pren is the best bartender around. She always puts people in a better mood and her finesse with a G&T is unmatched. Five stars do not do her justice. Pren gets twenty stars in my book. Not to mention she’s hilarious and always has a good yarn to spin. Her knowledge of cartographical history is impressive. I can always trust Pren to serve up a good pour and a good joke. Hats off and bottoms up

Can’t say much for the food but the service was not existent – “since we were slow we decided to close early” is what we were told over the phone – Go to Darcy’s instead – if I wanted a beer I would but we wanted a Martini – Oh well, at least the servers get a good night sleep.

Everything we ordered was bad – burger was spicy, both burger and fries felt like frozen from supermarket. Coleslaw had nothing to do with coleslaw. My boyfriend left the rib eye steak untouched because it was so bad. Service was nice, but food is truly terrible.
