We were able to get a seat immediately, service was amazing! Didn’t have to ask for water, they just brought it to the table. I got the pizza and it was absolutely amazing! I also got to try the Ballantine burger, their smoked mayo is out-of this world! Great prices for delicious food!!

We had a party of four on a Friday evening. We were seated quickly, in a booth by a window. Our server was attentive, but not intrusive. Drink order was taken quickly, as was our food order. Food and drinks arrived quickly. Everyone was happy with what arrived – pizza margherita, strip steak, roasted chicken, beet salad with shrimp. Good value for what was received. We would return, and would recommend.

My first visit to Ballantine we went for Nagroni week. Have to say I was impressed. Casual dining, nice atmosphere the. Windows along the wall make you feel connected to all the activity going on East Street. The food and the speciality cocktails were great. I’d good back here anytime.

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered pizza for our daughter’s which was soggy and undercooked. We overlooked this. We ordered a chicken sandwich which looked good until we cut it open. The sandwich was unfortunately raw! We asked for the sandwich to be returned. We asked for them to comp us a drink while we wait for something else and they refused. Ok no big deal. They then scanned our card twice. One for the sandwich they were supposed to comp and then the remainder of the bill. The manager was inappropriate and obviously inexperienced. We Will never take our family here again.

Worst food worst service ever! Do not eat here. I ordered pink and bloody and got burnt. Avoid this place for company dinners! When the check arrived they gave us a generous amount off. That was nice, but everything else was bad. Beer selection is great.

First time here. Service was good, but a little slow although there were very few tables taken besides ours. Strip steak was prepared a perfect medium as requested and the short rib pasta was very good. Stuffed avocados and meatballs were very good appetizers as well. Prices were fair and we’ll be back!

Nice comfortable place we stop at regularly when in historic downtown Willoughby. We stopped in today for a drink and an appetizer. I had the “Zombie Dust” from 3 Floyds Brewing Co. My wife had a dirty martini. Both drinks were served quickly and tasted great.
