Everything about the food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The mantu were perfectly cooked, soft and juicy, topped with a delicious sauce and creamy yogurt. The kuboli polo was perfect too.

The atmosphere is warm and cozy, making it a lovely place to sit down and enjoy a good meal. Overall, this place offers high-quality food and a very pleasant dining experience. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, delicious dishes.

Best and authentic pistachio cake I ever had. It was so fresh and flavourful. They had authentic Kabul sweets, snacks and dry fruits and nuts. A must visit!

What a wonderful place to enjoy authentic Afghan food and desserts! This place is under new ownership, and you can truly see and feel the difference in the quality of the food and the level of customer service. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. If you’re craving Afghan food, this is definitely the place to go. The bolani is absolutely amazing! I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family.

I recently visited an balkh restaurant and I have to say it was absolutely incredible! I’ve never had Afghan food before, and this experience blew me away. Every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and made with such care. From the tender kebabs to the fragrant rice and perfectly spiced sauces, everything was unforgettable. The hospitality was just as amazing friendly, welcoming, and full of heart.

I ordered Bolani here for my kids and specifically requested that it not be spicy. I waited for half an hour for it to be ready. When I received the Bolani and my daughter tasted it, it turned out to be spicy. I politely informed the staff, and they apologized, asking me to bring it back so they could remake it. I waited another 15 minutes for the replacement.

This time, while it was not spicy, the quality was far worse. The Bolani was burnt, the leeks were poorly washed and tossed in without proper preparation, there was no salt, and the dough had a bad smell. To make matters worse, I found hair in it. The original spicy Bolani, despite being wrong, was not as terrible as this batch.

I don’t know if this was intentional or just poor service, but it’s unacceptable. I hope they learn proper ethics and standards from other fast-food chains.
