Our car club stopped here for lunch on our Color Tour. Food was 6 out of 5 stars. The Brisket had a great smoke flavor. The pulled pork and chicken each had absolutely great flavor. Yams were delicious. The BBQ was some of the best I have had in Michigan- likely the best in years. The service was great. The staff was very friendly, came to check on us, and you could tell they take pride in their cooking. Prices were very affordable. I’d return here in a heartbeat.

My mom and I went. We’re from the deep south and I’m extremely picky with my food. And let me tell you!!! Them ribs are 100% fall of the bone sweet bar b que! Best I’ve have in Michigan by far! My mom loved the collards, but again, I’m picky, so I want to go show them my recipe but this place is so welcoming I feel like they’d almost let me ♀️
But for real fr! If y’all want some good food, with real and good people, you need to go here! Support your local business, Lord knows Saginaw needs to step it up with it.

This place is totally worth the stop! Everything is delicious and reasonably priced. We had a little bit of everything with the sampler platters. I also appreciated the fact that they had high chairs for Littles as well.

Traveling from out of state just found this spot on Google. The customer service was welcoming , the atmosphere was calming and uplifting. I Decided to try their smoked wings (I don’t eat pork) plain with Sauce on the side. I had one slight issue with my order but I spoke with the hostess and she politely heard my request and resolved the issue no problem. As someone who travels and usually have to settle for fast food, I was more than pleased to grab something homestyle to go. My wings were fresh and made to order and quite tasty. Next time I’m in Saginaw I will make sure to sit down and eat so that I can enjoy the full experience. All in All KRP Approved.

Always searching for a good place to stop for dinner on the way home from up north and Baldwin’s is a gem! Our party of 4,(not BBQ experts), really enjoyed the chicken, brisket, and perch sandwich. We also tried the smothered cabbage, baked beans, and collard greens as sides and none disappointed!
The owners, Evelyn and Roy, stopped by our table at different times to have conversation and make sure we were happy with our choices. We will definitely be back!

The brisket and ribs are both phenomenal. Best cornbread dressing I’ve ever had in a restaurant. All the sides we had were to die for and the service was exceptionally friendly and fantastic. Prices are very reasonable. Wish we’d had room to try dessert. Worth a trip for sure!

This place was great. The owner came to talk with us. The waitress was amazing and food very good. Very clean, as Jazz music played. The owner brought over ribs for our young daughter to try due to ordering tenders and she loved them. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a chill environment and great soul food.

This place is wonderful! I had the Catfish Platter and my husband had the Chicken Leg and Ribs Platter. Both dishes were tender and delicious. You can always tell when food is cooked with LOVE and it was brimming over with that Love. The service is excellent. Brandy was our Server and she was personable and very attentive. So, if you are in the mood for exceptional food and service, then this is the place for you!
