The cashier guy was good hearted. Told me he wouldn’t be disappointed if I didn’t tip when paying with Apple Pay when the tip part popped up. The hot steak and mushroom sub was done before I finished my chips, in other words it came out fast. That’s important for people with short lunches. The jalapeños were perfect, hot and crunchy!! I put $3 bucks cash in the tip jar when I left.

I got DoorDash earlier today, it was going good ate my sandwich, was sitting there drinking my sweet tea, decided I wanted to eat some ice, and to my surprise BAM A BUG in my drink!!!! I feel like it’s a baby roach but not 100% sure. But now I’m disgusted because I’m 9 months pregnant and if there’s bugs in the sweet tea there’s no telling how many bugs are in the kitchen, I wish I would’ve seen the bug before I ate my food

Upon arrival the store was empty accept for employees. The order process was smooth but the order came incomplete. I ordered the Marinated chicken salad and a lunch special 1/2 meatball sub with pasta salad and a whole pickle on the side.
What I got was an extremely small Marinated chicken salad, well dress with seasons and a 1/4 slice of sub wheat bread-top. My pickle was left off and I had to ask for it. My lunch special meatball sub was x-ed, supposedly ran out of meatballs. I was offered a replacement sandwich (not sure at cost or replacement cost) but selected to have the funds returned. I would further gobto say that the salad was so small, its like when you shave down a new head of lettuce maybe a good 6 times in extremely thin strips( that’s what the salad bed was like).
I would strongly recommend eating a bit before your arrival or ordering the whole sub with the macaroni side salad.
NO DRINKS INCLUDED!
BTW- THE FRESH KOSHER PICKLE WAS THE CHEF KISS! CRUNCHY AND FRESH LIKE HOMEMADE MARINATED
WILL NOT BE RETURNING- NOT EVEN FOR A REPLACEMENT OF ANYTHING!
Compared to the Baldinos in Chamblee Georgia, THIS PLACE SHOULD TAKE NOTES!

I am absolutely sick of this location. Sandwich orders are either wrong or made without love. Today was the last straw. My order ticket said no tomatoes and no mustard. What did I get? Tomatoes and extra mustard. There really needs to be someone from corporate to come and address quality control. When I find out how to reach them, that will be my next contact. This location needs to either fix the issues or close down. If you want to know how to run this place or even how to make an adequate sandwich, visit the Doraville location.

So this is my first time eating here and the sub is amazing, the only complaint I have is that I ordered bacon and paid extra for that to be on my sub and there is no bacon. Other than this , the turkey sub is great and the bread is amazing! Thank you!!

My lettuce was almost as brown as my wheat bread , but being very fair , I have to say once I made contact with the owner, she was very accommodating and apologetic for my experience. I must admit , all other experiences to this location is 5 star also add this is my favorite lunch spot in downtown Macon and will continue visiting the establishment

I really love Baldinos! I’ve been eating it my entire life! This location is newer..the service is excellent but something is off with the bread! I’ve tried it a few times at the Macon location and each time it is noticeable! I watched today and it appears the bread is precut! It’s compromising the taste and freshness of the bread! Either way, the sandwich still was delicious, just not the Baldinos I know! The owner was so kind and I have no doubt they will continue to improve!

This is a hard review to have to write, due to my love of Baldino’s subs. I haven’t had a Baldino’s sub in over 10 years due to not having a location near enough to my house or my visits around the country, so I was pleasantly surprised to see a location in downtown Macon, which was not far off the highway, so I took my life and sanity into my hands by chancing a drive through the mess that is downtown Macon. While the location of the deli is in a good spot, be careful where you park.
I got inside and ordered from the owner/manager, a friendly and pleasant woman, and proceeded to wait for my order. 2 simple sandwiches, no special ingredients, made the “Baldino’s Way”, and after waiting for considerable time for the employees to make the order (they were busy laughing and talking amongst themselves and getting orders wrong left and right, and literally laughing over the sandwiches, as in LEANING OVER and laughing) I got my order and left. We ate our sandwiches on the road since we had a long way to go.
Worst sandwiches I have had. Absolutely LOADED with oregano (see pic of tomato doused in oregano) and zero oil and vinegar on either. Horrible taste with all the oregano and lack of oil and vinegar. I had to apologize to my brother for suggesting Baldino’s, he probably won’t take a chance in another location.
Note to owner/manager: ask your employees to pay attention to what they are doing, don’t talk and giggle with your face inches from a sandwich, and stop lollygagging when you have multiple customers waiting.
This place won’t survive long if they keep getting reviews like mine and others I’ve seen on here.

This place is terrible. The girl taking the order didn’t know what she was doing and had no one looking over her to help her on her “first job”. She had to ring us up 3 times because she kept forgetting stuff or messing up. I get all the way home with a soggy sandwich with toppings I repeatedly said I didn’t want on my sandwich. Barely any peppers in it and not a lot of meat. The manager Gabby thought I should drive all the way back downtown for a refund or that I should not eat the sandwich for days until I was able to bring it back for a refund. Stop putting children in charge of your business. You all really get 0 stars!

My daughter purchased the #19 whole steak and onions and #10 half tuna, these sandwiches are absolutely horrible, the bread on these sandwiches is inedible, it is dense, hard, and tasteless. What a total waste of $21.00 plus dollars.
