The staff was friendly and the service was quick! It was my first time at a Baldino’s ever so I wasn’t sure what I was in for. The quality of ingredients was definitely fresh and subs were made to order. For me, this was just a slight upgrade from Jimmy John’s. Not my style but not a bad spot. If you like Jimmy John’s, check this place out!

We stopped here for lunch on the way back to SC. We split a Family size Italian Batallion. Unbelievable sandwich that never disappoints. Fresh soft bread stuffed with meats and toppings. Quick service. Worth the drive off of I-20.

Been coming here for a couple years. Normally smells like fresh bread when you walk in, with a mom and pop feel, even though it’s a chain. Staff is friendly and food is good. Would come back anytime!

The cucumber crab salad was delicious and so refreshing on a hot day. The Italian Battalion is my favorite sub from the Baldinos, but I felt it was smaller than it used to be, and the meat was cut thinner . But overall, the flavor and fresh ingredients were delicious.

Last time for me! I have been to this place several times, but after today this is it for me. I ordered the half “American Special.” The rude lady owner took my order, she was wearing gloves taking peoples money, etc. She never changed her gloves and started helping the guy make the subs. The Sub making guy is no better. He makes the subs with gloves on, yells in his hands, “order-up” and continues to make the subs with the gloves. NASTY! As he is making subs for various orders, any left over lettuce, or onions, they scrap back into the bin with the fresh ingredients. I had pieces of onions in mine and I said no onions. They never change their gloves. This location will not give you ANYTHING extra, without a fee. They don’t have Salt & pepper, just oregano. The other location on Wrightsboro Rd has these things and they also have packs of Mayo, Salt, Pepper, Mustard, forks, & spoons that you can grab on your way out. Not this place, they charge extra for EVERYTHING! They don’t serve soup like the other location. Subs are suppose to be 6 1/2 inches long when you look on the Baldinos Website. These subs barely come in at 5 inches long and hard bread. They need to do better. Change the gloves out after each sub is made. Stop scraping used lettuce back in the tub, Clean Up!

The owner here at the front counter is extremely rude and nasty person. She needs to take a course on interpersonal communication skills. She doesn’t greet when your next in line nor give any eye contact. She also took someone in back of me in line before taking my order. She made me wait until my food was completely done before she gave me my drink while there was no line anymore.
Subs are decent but you will have to deal with the rude woman at the front and outdated marketing inside some of the stuff they don’t offer anymore.
I sat in my car and ate just because she made me so upset with her behavior.

Baldinos is that spot. I always swing by to grab a sandwich for my girlfriend, and let me tell you—they never miss. Every time I walk through that door, I know I’m about to be the MVP of the day. One bite of that sub and she’s smiling like I just bought her diamonds. It’s wild how bread, meat, and cheese can hold so much power.
There’s something comforting about how consistent they are. No drama, no fuss—just good food, made right. The crew is always on point, and the sandwiches? Stacked like they actually care. You don’t see that much anymore.
And yeah, I might not always get something for myself, but seeing her satisfied is enough to keep me coming back. (Okay fine, I steal a few bites too… for quality control.)
Baldinos, you’ve got a loyal customer in me. Thanks for making my relationship stronger—one sub at a time.

I went to pick up an order and the guy was just plain rude and prejudiced and kept trying to claim I was trying to steal and tried to talk behind my back to other customers I will never eat a place that have roaches crawling on the ceiling

My favorite Sub shop. Everytime i go back home. We stop in to get some subs
to come back to Macon . The bread does it for me. Love the Italian Battalion.
It is a great experience for me and my family. Bread doesn’t get soggy after that long trip. They make it right.
We will stop by again next time we are in town.

Nice mom and pop place, good subs with great bread made how you want it. They have a huge selection of drinks, you can also get beer. A little more expensive that other sub chains but you get a lot more sandwich for the price. The Italian battalion was fantastic. I said it was a great sandwich shop but it really reminds me of the hoggie shop my grandfather took me to in Philly. It’s worth trying!
