If you’re on 6th Ave and you want tacos, this is your spot! I had two mix street tacos and a pork and cheese pupusa. This is some of the best food I’ve had in Tacoma. The service is quick, the food is delicious, and the staff are excited to be here. I plan to be back often!

I have only ever got tacos here, but dang are they delicious. The service is pretty quick. They have delicious hot sauce (three varieties, but I always get the extra spicy one and the green one). There is not much seating and the building itself is a little bit cold due to the large windows, so make sure to wear a sweatshirt during the colder months. It is always clean and tidy in there though. The music always hits and, especially when I start eating the food, I can’t help but do a happy dance to the fun tunes. Finally, the staff are super friendly, nice, and welcoming. Go check this place out. I don’t think you will regret your decision.

We stopped by Balcon Express for dinner. It wasn’t too crowded, which made for a relaxed dining experience. The setup is fast-casual style, you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. They have a self-order kiosk too, but it didn’t work when we tried using it.
There’s a wide variety of options on the menu, which made it hard to choose ,in a good way! We ended up getting the carnitas tacos and pupusas, and both were absolutely delicious. The restroom was clean and nicely maintained, which is always a plus.
Overall, a solid spot for tasty, casual Salvadoran and Mexican food. Would definitely come back to try more dishes!

I was born and raised in Central California, and since moving up here 10+ years ago I have missed food packed with flavor. When i say the carne asada putaco is the best thing i have eates since i moved to Washington state, i am not lying. Their pickled cabbage is phenomenal and the verde sauce is one of the best ive ever had. Wish I hadnt found it while visiting so i could eat this all the time. Go in and get some food, you will be so happy you did!

Can’t recommend this place enough. I got the torta and my friend putaco. Both were delicious! Authentic food with friendly staff, clean restaurant, and excellent service. I’m visiting from out of town, but if I lived closer I would be here often!

It looks cute but the pupusas are noy good $5.50 per pupusa I’m expecting something legit but it was too salty and the curtido was dumped on top making the second pypusas too soggy – the chesse Izard out and burnt but not it a tasty way . Maybe the Mexican food but I didn’t order any so can’t say

Literally 10/10 food I enjoyed every bite ! 10/10 service very kind employees. The atmosphere is really good. And I loved their playlist most definitely worth every penny coming here!

Amazing food, agua jamaica and strawberry lemonade, popusas revueltas, torta pollo, and the tacos revueltos. Haven’t had this great food in a long time. Tastes like grandma and mom are in the kitchen. Please don’t pass this place without trying their amazing food and drinks. Let’s not say their great hospitality.

This was my first time at this place, and I must say, everything was absolutely excellent. The service was impeccable, and the food exceeded my expectations. I particularly enjoyed the putaco and street tacos, which were exceptional. I will definitely be returning to this establishment.
