Dropped in to grab a bite with my son going by the vets office. Wasn’t planned at all but saw the 2 for $10 special. Walking inside it is very clean and has a nice setup. Girl prepping our pizza even made sure the pizza wasn’t too hot for my son so he could eat it sooner.
Taking a bite of the pizza it was flavorful and not too heavy. Super thin crust with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. It folded great and wasn’t floppy but still pizza not cracker. Reminded me of I love NY Pizza in Gville before it closes. Great pizza and helpful service for a great price can best it. Would go there again. God bless

Always happy when there’s a great pizza place I have to say the service is incredibly good too. Prices are fair. And let me tell you the pizza does not disappoint this is awesome pizza and is definitely worth a return trip. Though I think they should rename the pizza Bronx bomber to maybe something like let’s go Mets or go Sox.

Absolutely LOVE Grandmas pizza. Somebody give her a kiss from me. The best pizza we have had hands down around the world. (We try pizza every country we travel.) I can’t believe we have never seen this in our area before now. Had this pizza twice in one week. So delicious !!

My partner and I had a great experience! The pizza is the best we’ve ever had – the pink sauce is insane. Their tomato sauce taste so natural, or rather, simple but in the way you’d want tomato sauce to taste like.
Also, we ordered to go but ended up eating inside and the staff did not hesitate at all to switch things up and serve us inside. Everyone is super attentive, kind, and skilled at making phenomenal pizza.
Worth the thirty minute drive for us every time!!

Giving the benefit of the doubt on this review. It would be such a shame to have your score drop due to lack of customer service, and not the flavor a d quality of your food. We called in our order, first time customers. We were told it would be ready in 30 min. We waited over 20 min after we arrived, and instead of being honest and saying they forgot to put in our order, they acted like it would just be a couple more minutes. Please take my advice- honesty will always get you further in this business. A simple apology goes a long way. Don’t try and cover up and lie, it always makes it worse. People make mistakes. We are all human. I personally would have offered the garlic knots on the house. That all being said, it was amazing pizza. Everything was cooked wonderfully. The sauce tasted fresh and made from scratch. Extremely happy with the food. I hope this becomes our new local pizza “go to”. Trusting the next time we order will be smoother.

I never leave reviews. I felt compelled. This is grade a quality pizza. Great value-you can’t get McDonald’s for less than $20 currently, very very well made, and delicious. I’m a chef I’d like to think I know at least a little about what’s good. I appreciate that they double check and have you look at the pizza before you leave with it when picking it up. Very smart.

Really could not wait to get in and try this tasty pizza parlor. So many praises and most of it exceeded expectations! Marinara sauce, Florentine slice and meatball parm slice was absolute favorites! Oh and that cheesecake! Got a gourmet calzone stuffed with quality ingredients and very tasty sausage! Good Fellas did not disappoint! Also ordered an anti pasta salad. Meats are not only quality but you received quantity! Really the only complaint was our calzone was definitely over cooked. I would have given the experience a 4.5 if I could but decided it was worthy of a 5 more than a 4. I think if you try it you will agree! Happy tummy ⭐️

Bala’s Pizza never disappoints! I’ve been a loyal customer for a while now, and it’s easy to see why. This time, I ordered the buffalo chicken and margherita pies, and both were absolutely delicious. The buffalo chicken pie had the perfect balance of spice and flavor, with tender chicken and just the right kick. The margherita pie with pesto that was a classic done right, with fresh mozzarella, basil, and a flavorful tomato sauce that tasted so authentic. Plus, the cashier was super friendly, adding to the great experience. Bala’s truly has the best pizza in Jacksonville—can’t wait to come back for more!

I found a review for Bala’s pizza and a photograph of “The Triple Threat”. Not usually partaking in more than just pizza, my conscience kicked in and lead me to place an order, as I also consider myself to be a triple threat.
The pizza was great, the garlic knots great also but the star of the show was the calzone. I haven’t tasted a calzone of this caliber in almost twenty years. The calzone covered the warm gooey insides like a light blanket on a chilly winters eve. It was love at first bite.
The staff was top notch but that calzone. I will tell my kid’s kids about the night I had Bala’s calzone.
