Balaou is a truly unique spot in SXM. Eating right over the water with the sunset in front of you makes it an unforgettable experience. Great food, great vibe, and an amazing view. A unique moment to live at least once while in Saint Martin. Highly recommend!

We come to SXM every few months because we own a place here and this popped up in between our last trip and this one! Couldn’t wait to try it! And we were definitely not disappointed. We will be coming back here every trip!!!!!!!!!!!! I called the number and they came to pick us up immediately, we did not need a reservation in low season, but great that you can book reservations! The four cheese pizza was insane, never had such incredible cheese on a pizza, especially cooked in the middle of the ocean! A floating bar atmosphere is insanely unique, and just so fun!!!!! We will be back as many times as we can! Food

Such a fun floating bar and restaurant! Kevin and his biz partner are great hands-on owners that made us feel very welcome and hydrated. The barge bar and the floating couches are so nice and brand new. Fabulous drinks and atmosphere.
They have a small boat that picks people up from the dock in Grand Case. Or paddle on out.

This place is incredible! The pizza was delicious, the staff was friendly, the wine and beer selection was perfect. After a fun day, we forgot one of our bags on a bar hook, it had a drivers license and tons of cash, they kept it safe and brought it back to us the next day!

Had a fun time chilling, sipping and swimming. I apologize for leaving the snorkel mask at the bottom of the sea. I tried to pay for it, but they did not seemed too concerned and will probably be able to retrieve it.

This place exceeded our expectations. We expected “ok” food and drinks and a unique atmosphere, but the burgers were amazing as well as the calamari, drinks were great, and the service was wonderful. We even lost our glasses over the side and the bartender retrieved them from the bottom! Very clearly a group who enjoy their jobs and a great way to spend an afternoon. There are two tables that are covered so if you are sun sensitive I suggest reserving one of those.

We went on a whim, not knowing what to expect. Every aspect was amazing. The food was fantastic. The drinks were very good. The service was excellent. Walking was slippery and when people (including myself) fell, everyone laughed good- naturedly. It was comical in a good way. The waves were strong the day we went so our raft rocked with the waves, just enhancing the experience, and we saw a giant turtle float by. Best decision!

Found this place online before our recent visit and really wanted to try it. The winds were a little strong the day we chose to go and we were the only couple there but it was still awesome!! Great service by all 3 of the gentleman working. From pickup on the dock to the drinks and the chicken Bokit was all amazing! Such a fun addition to the amazing island we will be back next time for sure!
