First time here, February 2026. We drove all the way from Somerset, TX. Ordered a bunch of the “viral” fruit desserts. Ate a couple of desserts while there, they were very cold, the inside fruit filling was pretty firm and one was still frozen inside. The rest we ate at home, to share with the family. By that time the mousse filling had time to thaw out and they tasted better and were creamier.
We also picked up some Dubai Chocolate Bars and Baklovah, those were all amazing. I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been coming here for years when I visit San Antonio. I went 2 years without visiting, but went last week with my daughter. The menu has expanded tremendously and everything I had was top tier. The fruit mousse was delicious especially the Raspberry and mango. The cheese guava pastry was so good. Definitely will try some more new things next time I’m in town. Just fyi, the fruit mousse does stain from the outer shell due to food color spray. Grab some napkins! The rose matcha was a 3 outta 5 for me.

10/10
Every item is beautifully made and the taste is top notch.
We got a few items, my two favorite being the lemon mousse (It has lemon and passionfruit flavor, which was amazing) and the pistachio matcha tiramisu.
Staff was patient, friendly, and informative.
I’m definitely coming back and bringing a few friends.

Honestly really disappointed, I was a loyal customer, really loved this place, I would go there twice or once a month for over a year now. and I have tried every. Single. Item. From the menu.
And I can say that:
This last 3-4 months pastries quality went really really down.
They keep changing the recipes for almost every pastry now, prices has increase as sizes has decrease significantly. I don’t mind spending the money as long as the quality is good, but now quality, taste and size of the desserts kept getting worse, it went below my expectations and they just increased the prices.
I used to pay for what I got, which was an amazing quality of the food. Not anymore
I usually never comment online but I’m really disappointed.
I just went today to order my top 4 items from the pastries.
I used to rate them as a 10/10, but now those 10/10 disappointed so much I had to give them a 5/10 being positive.
How did a 10/10 went to a 5/10 really?….
Taste was really bland, lazy, recipes inconsistent and overall really bad.
I don’t think Baklovah is worth it anymore. Probably going to unsubscribe from the reward dollars at baklovah as well
Genially, what happened to this place?
What have they done to you my Baklovah?
Now a HEB cookie is better than you
You will be missed Baklovah

very nice inside. there is a lot of variety. i tried the nutella mocha and we also ordered the pistachio matcha. we came for dubai’s strawberries, it was good but the chocolate was already hardened. the strawberries were very fresh. we also got the fruit taste and it was so good and fresh. would definitely come back here again. -December 2025
update: came back in February 2026. Ordered two Dubai Strawberry cups which totaled to $32. There was no chocolate on top of strawberries this time. I dislike the inconsistency of this place. I don’t think I’ll comeback here because of this. For $30 , I expect it to have a good amount of each ingredient since these cups are fairly inexpensive to make.

Everything looks delicious, prices are affordable, the workers are very kind, the lady offered us time before ordering which made us feel less pressured. The quality of flavor and appearance is very good. Also they gifted us an Americano (I’ve never liked one before but..) it was the BEST Americano I’ve ever tried! I would definitely order one next time. We got our pastries to go but ended up staying because the place was so peaceful and clean. They also had decent music that was not loud, just perfect.

What an amazing bakery experience! They have so many different options to choose from. Baklava, cheesecake, cannolis, cookies, cake, fruit pastries, Dubai chocolate items and gelato. Everything is made from scratch and fresh. If you have a sweet tooth or craving a sweet treat, this is your spot!

The best dessert shop I’ve been to in the U.S.! We visited every day during our stay in San Antonio. Our top favorites were the honeycomb cake, mango-shaped cake, tiramisu cup, labneh akkawi cheese and honey pie, and frozen lemon mint. The iced latte can be addicting depending on who made it that day, and the chocolate baklava was delicious too. The staff is incredibly friendly and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

2/10 Overhyped. I spent almost $100 and I had instant regret. I got nauseated and nearly vomited on my way home. The Dubai chocolate strawberries was so hard. It broke the spoon. The baklava was way too sweet and had this almost stale taste. That made me think it was not fresh. The chai was absolutely disgusting. I have never taste a chai latte that bad before. I also have to agree with others when they say the atmosphere feels rushed. I definitely would not recommend. And will not be returning. It’s a shame because I was so ready to enjoy it. Very disappointed. If you’re looking for aesthetically pleasing pastries and don’t care about that then by all means. Otherwise don’t waste your time and money.
