Maybe a 3.5. We really enjoyed the vibe of the little shop, and we liked the varieties of interesting flavored bakeries: cake, biscuits, cookies.. but experience was very mixed.
Staff were all nice and friendly, but gave us the wrong item – We ordered 2 regular cappuccino, supposed to be exactly same, but ended up getting 1 regular and 1 with flavored syrup which we did not ask for. No one before and after us ordered cappuccino, so I don’t know how they messed up this type of very basic order. We could accept the flavored one without asking to remake, but imagine someone with diabetes or certain type of allergies, giving wrong item to customers can cause very serious issues.
They also forgot to give us one of the bakeries we ordered with the coffee. We had to go back to counter to ask for it.
The cake we got was way too sweet, both sponge cake part and whipping cream part. It’s not a good balance as the sweet taste covers all other flavors the cake supposed to have. We got a taro flavor, which supposed to be a unique and strong flavor, but we can barely taste the taro because all we could feel is sweet.
Nashville hot biscuit is worth a try if you like spicy food. A little too salty though, but the spicy level is definitely great.

Delicious breakfast croissant sausage and egg sandwich. Absolutely perfect. Staff was super sweet, not sure if this is true, but it has a high schooler staff vibe which I love. Clearly the owner loves the shop and has a great sense of humor, cute and artistic signs and swag. Very cozy vibe. I read a cute astrology book while waiting. Next time I will get the NOLA coffee. I will definitely be back. I wish they had some gluten free options for my boyfriend, but I know that’s a lot to ask.

We came here after going to Dr. Toothfairy. We absolutely love this bakery and coffeeshop. My children love their chocolate crossaint and I love their brewed coffee. The chocolate spread that they use for the crossaint is so decadent. They have a lot of sweet treats and another favorite is their macaroons. It’s a bit pricey tho. They also have delicious taro cake. Nothing beats Filipino-made Ube cakes but what they offer is still tasty. It’s a small place but they have outside seating which is nice when it’s not too cold and hot to sit outside.
I love how they brought our order to our table even though they didn’t have to. It’s the small gesture of customer service that leaves a nice mark in my experience.

All I can say is WOW- Bakeshop is a cozy little bakery with amazing drinks and yummy treats. Everything we got from here was excellent, tasted high quality, and well balanced.
The staff were so wonderful- they greeted every customer when they walked in, were super kind to everyone, and were very accommodating. So glad we found this place- we will always be coming back!

Cozy little bakery! There are so many options. I got a cheddar biscuit and a slice of coffee cake. Both are delicious! I took mine to go. But there are tables to eat in. Service was great as well. Will definitely be back to try more things!

I love coming here with my kid after preschool, the food is good and the people are nice.
BUT there are only two tables inside and one is almost always being used by employees, even when there are customers waiting, crowded, or looking for somewhere to sit. Tables should be for customers during busy hours. It’s common sense.

Wonderful display of goodies baked in house! I tried the Ube cake with whipped cream frosting and it did not disappoint! The cake was light and the frosting not too sweet. It took a while to get rung up because the mother-daughter duo in front of me were chatting up the cashier operating on 1 register. Thanks to them, I got to browse the selection and take notes on what treats are coming home with me next time I stop by here.
Place is cozy and clean inside. They also have seating outside. Oh, and buy a shirt! Wear it to the store and get a free cookie or cupcake each time!! Win!
