I got various pastries and they are the most fresh and delicious Cuban pasteles that I’ve ever had. Not pictured but I also tried their ham croquettes, Cuban bread, and cafe con leche. They were all amazing. Highly recommend Bakery Makel!

Stopped for morning coffee and toast at this tiny place, glad I did, coffee was perfect and the food was really good, the portions may be a little on the light side if you have a big morning appetite but for me it was perfectly portioned. They had delicious food with great service despite me coming in an hour before closing. We asked for a beef empanada despite them having none and they made it in great time. I can’t wait to go back and try more.

The food is okay, but they are extremely stingy on the meat. Barely any beef in the papa rellena and very skinny empanadas. The flavor is good, but please add more meat. Also, if you order for delivery, there will always be something missing from your order.

What a find!!! This local Florida girl is thrilled to have found a delicious breakfast empanada, breakfast sandwich on Cuban bread and Café con leche. Please forgive my silly husband for saying no sugar in the Café con leche… he is now aware to not mess with how one is made after a good 5 mins of “how dare you”! In all fairness I usually use stevia and it still tastes delicious, but I can’t wait to go back and try one with sugar. This place is a must try!! Delicious

My all time favorite place! I don’t know how anyone could post a bad thing about this bakery. The food is absolutely delicious! The Cuban sandwiches here are better than any Cuban I’ve had before. The pork just melts in your mouth and the bread is better than Miami’s Cuban bread. They also have an incredible steak sandwich and the steak is full of flavor.

The different kind of empanadas, pastries and you can get, is intense. We got the Cuban empanadas, the breakfast one, and the steak one! We also got a cafe con lèche and a couple of Venezuelan cheese croquette! Delicious!

Wow Real Cuban Bakery in Clearwater, Cafe con Leche is on point and the Croqueta Preperada was one of the best I have had and I lived in Miami. Pastelito de Guayaba y Queso really good as well.
