Great pastries! I tried lunch, but was not impressed. I will give it a second try. I will let you know. Okay 2nd try. They knocked it out the park. Peach muffin and Gigi Omelette. Truly amazing.

Stopped in for lunch and had a wonderful overall first-time dining experience! Unique and tasty menu choices. Enjoyed a scrumptious turkey, ham, and swiss sandwich on a sweet Hawaiian bun with fries. And, for dessert, a delicious pecan bar and iced coffee drink . Also, loved the aesthetics and ambiance (tried to capture a glimpse with a few pics ❤); quaint and serene. Very friendly and helpful staff. ALL of the sweets and other menu items looked so yummy!!! Will definitely be back to more lol.

This place comes highly recommended so we gave it a try and it did not disappoint. The baked potato soup was really good and the chicken tenders were lightly breaded and very moist. Pasta salad was good as well. Lots of sweets and coffees too!

We were at Baker’s Sweets 4 years ago, visiting from Iowa and tried the shrimp and grits which was really great. We have talked about them ever since. We are visiting Lake City again and had to have them again. Just as wonderful as we rememberd! The space is lovely and the staff were friendly and always checking on us.

If you want good ole fashioned grits, sausage, and eggs, you should order the Southern Skillet. It was fantastic! Just heat the grits up a bit more and it will be double fantastic!

A delightful cafe with something for everyone!! Coffee and sandwiches to take-home chicken pot pies! Plenty of seating with a quaint atmosphere nested between the Green and main street! We visited for 2023 Artfields and kept finding our way back to Bakers and Sweets!

Some ordered lunch for me and I got a cheese steak sandwich with mold on the bread. Very visible so it’s like they didn’t care that they sent out such a disgusting sandwich.. never again. Fried green tomatoes were very good. (At least)

One of my favorite places! We visit at least once a week and we also visit the Sumter location. The best coffee, lunch and sweets. My favorite coffee is the iced nutty nurse and I love the cheese danish, banana nut muffin, blueberry muffin, pumpkin muffin and the cake slices. The grits is to die for! Only complaint is they close too early
