I stumbled on a gem in Sumter while traveling. Delicious and affordable, look at the yummy cinnamon role. It is the best cinnamon role I have ever eaten. Kate and Amy were very helpful. Amy took the time to explain what flavor options I could choose for my coffee while suggesting her favorite. The cold brew she made was delicious, smooth and not too sweet .

My wife and I stopped in while walking in the area and picked up a dessert for later that night. It was just before lunch time when we stopped in. The staff was ready to answer questions and very friendly. The dessert was a chocolate tart of some sort that we split after dinner that evening. It was plenty big enough for us to share and definitely hit the spot. We agreed it was easy to spend the same amount at Publix for a dessert and get a lesser quality product.

Sumter has needed this for SO LONG! This Baker’s Sweet location is FIVE STAR! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They have great treats, an elevated coffee menu, and free wifi. It felt great to not sit at Starbucks and support local!! The interior is warm and welcoming.

I was working in the hospital and they had a coffee shop there with different kinds of food from Baker’s Sweets Bistro & Bakery.
There salads was awesome I just think need to add extra dressing. I love the chicken salad sandwich and the ham and cheese croissant and I also got there raspberry tea with honey taste was perfect

Beverly the cashier and cook today was phenomenal. She was extremely kind patient and friendly. The line was piling up and the orders as well but Beverly kept a positive attitude and handled multiple customers and orders on her own. This whole place is a joke. These people don’t have a clue. In the middle of making my latte the lady takes a phone call and goes in the back for about 3min. When she returns to the front she starts doing paperwork while on the phone then stocking bagels. After another 3min she hangs up and tells her coworker about the phone call. Finally returning back to my drink. She applied whip on top after I specifically asked for no whip.
I wouldn’t return if they were the last place to purchase coffee . There is more but Im over it. I had to throw my burn latte away because she over streamed my milk.

***EDITED*** Not sure what is going on at this location as of lately but the service is not nearly as good as it used to be! My Co-Worker and I visit at least 2-3 times a week,(less frequently lately as the last 3-4 months the service and food isn’t as good as it previously was) this morning we were told they weren’t accepting cash and that espresso drinks couldn’t be made! Bring back the old crew!!!!!
