Just a random stop for lunch. Stepped inside to a quite nice old school BBQ shop clean and welcoming. After ordering I noticed a nice pepper bar and fixings shop another glance ice cream and fresh cobbler. When my order came I was delighted with the large portions and the sliced brisket was heavenly. I could not resist trying the cobbler and it also hit the spot sweet and warm. I am happy I stumbled across this place and will definitely be back for more.

This place is awesome, staff is friendly… cant speak for all the meats but the jalapeno sasauge and smoked turkey is amazing and the sides are good… definitely will be back and recommend

I have passed by this place so many times and took a leap of faith today to try it. But I’m extremely disappointed and I hope somebody with the business will reach out to me about it.
I ordered a half pound of sliced brisket fatty and if you look at the picture you can see there’s probably about half a cup of liquid fat and the meat itself is probably about 75% fat
There’s a difference between asking for meat that’s fatty and giving a customer straight up fat to eat but I’m too far away right now to turn around and take this crap back
The price I paid was very high although par for the course with brisket these days so it was understandable. But I sure as hell didn’t pay the high price to get a half a cup of fat and 75% fat on my meat
On the bright side they did have a drive-thru which was great and from the little bit of meat that I can taste the flavor tastes great. I just wish it wasn’t 75% fat

Most BBQ places I go to have a bigger menu, calling yourself Bakers Ribs and not having a Rib plate. A 2 meat plate, 2 sides, and a drink was $23, 2 Ribs and maybe a half of a chicken breast, about 1/4 cup of potato salad and coleslaw each. I have eaten at this location many times before and I’m sure the portions were better size. The photo is a $23 plate from a place in Huntsville Texas much more of a value, 5 Ribs, green beans and coleslaw, free pinto beans and had sliced tomatoes at the condiment bar and a large drink.

I love this place SO much but I’m so sad it went this way. Not only did the drive through take forever (probably because of the car in front of me) but they got my sides wrong. I live in Peaster so it’s about half an hour away, too far to come back. I normally wouldn’t complain but JESUS this cost me half a hundo dollars! After a hard work day it just really got to me. I had yo work over 2 hours to afford this….I understand it happens but it’s literally dipping food out of a bin.

Date night at Baker’s Ribs in Weatherford.
We both had the 2 meat combo.
I had a strawberry margarita.
Potato salad was good. I had ribs and chopped pulled pork. Hubby had the ham and sausage. All were very tasty.
Not a sit down and be waited on place. Get in line and order. Either way it was good.

Honestly, I forget about Baker’s even though it’s right off Main Street. However, it came to mind when Hutches announced they were closing. Baker’s is pricey for sure, but it’s also very good. The building could use a bit of updating though, it’s looking kind of rough.
