I drove specifically here because of my search for donut shops – with an apple fritter!
When I arrived, there were 5 left. I got 4.
These are palm size, compared to ones that can be the size of my face! Get 2, the prices are fair…I got them to go.
I was driving this day, with a willing copilot for my donut caper, another fritter lover.
Here’s our take, after we each ate one right in the parking, and the other 2 about 8 hours later.
There’s a lot of flavor packed into this little fritter. Apple flavor, crunchy edges, lots of icing, it’s worth a try!
I didn’t get photos, but I’ll visit again.
8 hours later… right out of the bag…. Still crunchy and delicious!!
Plus, it’s in a cute little part of town!

Horrible !! In my continued quest to review most, if not all of the various eateries in Sierra Vista.. the Baker’s Dozen Donuts & Coffee really threw me for a loop ! I rarely eat donuts because, well.. they’re just not good for you. But like most, they are an occasional, irresistible treat !
When I do treat myself, I prefer an Apple Fritter.. just love a good Apple Fritter. So, a few days ago, I stop in and bought 6 Apple Fritter’s, and two Blueberry cake donuts, with the intention of freezing several for a later date.
What a huge disappointment! Later that evening, I ate one of the Blueberry donuts, and an Apple Fritter. My first concern was that the apple fritter did not look like you typical pastry. It was very small and nearly flat.
The Blueberry donut was just OK, but tasted of grease. The Apple Fritter was void of any “Apple”, and was kind of burnt on the bottom, and was very greasy ! To the point where it was NOT Edible !! You can see in the photos.. the size, the burnt bottoms, and of course, where they ended up.
I don’t know if this was just a bad batch, but even if that were the case.. you don’t sell bad batches to customers !

These are the best donuts on the planet. I now live in Germany, and have not had my favorites, blueberry cake donuts, in many years. When I first recently had one at that big international chain, I was completely disappointed: they were airy with little taste but sugar.
THESE were a completely different story! Firmer, heavier, extremely flavorful, with a pleasant sugary crunch on the outside. Thank you, Baker’s Dozen, for not cutting corners!

Decided to try this place because it wasn’t a Dunkin and I’m glad we did! The donuts are soft and, even in the middle of the day, were really fresh. I’m new to Sierra Vista and this isn’t as big a place as where I moved from but I’m glad this tiny city has places like this. Staff was super nice and helpful and I recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing donut!

Don’t go here if you want jelly filled or chocolate sprinkle donuts. This was our first and last visit. We went in for a half dozen chocolate sprinkle donuts but was told they only make them in cake donut type. We tried ordering other donuts but the person helping us didn’t speak English and gave us half wrong donuts that we didn’t pick. We told the lady at the counter and she just shrugged her shoulders. Took a bite of the only donut in the bag I liked and it had only a dime size amount of jelly! Donuts were twice as expensive as dunkin and not as good.

We are passing through town and stopped at this donut shop. It is a cute little old-fashioned place, much like an old diner. We were helped right away. It was almost noon so honestly we expected the donuts to be a bit older, maybe leftover from breakfast. My spouse and I took our first but at the same time; we both looked at each other and exclaimed how good and fresh they were.
Drinks are available from a cooler: juice, milks, sodas, bottled coffees. There are smoothie-type drinks they can make, such as strawberry banana.
There are bathrooms available.
Parking is in front and one side. Two spots are 15-minute restricted for getting orders to go.
I wish this place wasn’t 45 minutes away from us, but we will definitely return our next time in town.
