This diner sits right off a main road. We came in on a Thursday night and it was pretty quiet. We had no wait. This place feels like a diner, in the best way. Nothing fancy, clean and the staff seemed friendly. We sat in a booth for two which was nice. Our waitress was attentive and we mentioned how hungry we were and she got our food fast! We started with the perogie appetizer. They seemed like they were baked or air fried and reminded me of Ms Paul’s frozen perogies. I had the open faced meatloaf sandwich and my wife had an omelette. I also had the beef and vegetable soup and it was nice on a cold night. My wife’s omelette was huge and the toast was thick cut. My plate was ok. I wish they would have used the bread for toast that they served me. I had standard white bread ( which honestly is fine) and lots of gravy. The gravy was really salty, it tasted like canned or jarred. The meatloaf was ok, I liked that you could get a hint of pepper. I did have to scrape the gravy off the meatloaf. Oddly the amount of gravy they gave with the scoop of mashed potatoes worked well and the potatoes were really good. My wife enjoyed her omelet! We were full when we were done but couldn’t leave without dessert. My wife got a lemon berry cake and I can’t wait to eat my coconut cream pie. The big surprise was the bathrooms! The men’s room looked freshly remodeled! All in all if you are hungry and want a good meal, fast, that is not pretentious come here. I am looking forward to eating here again.

Food is reasonably priced. Breakfast was very good. The server was very attentive. The restaurant is very visible and easily accessible off of Route 15 (Dillsburg, PA), about 20 minutes south of Harrisburg, PA. A very clean restaurant inside. There is plenty of parking outside, especially in the rear of the restaurant and it is handicap accessible.

I wish this place had good food, or at least OK food. The atmosphere was pleasant, and our server was very attentive and helpful. But my ham and bean soup had a big slimy glob of … what? After encountering that, I stopped eating my soup and tried the salad. The shredded carrots and red cabbage on top were fresh, but the lettuce underneath was dried out, so after the carrots and cabbage were gone, I stopped eating my salad. My husband shared his french fries with me. They were OK. He said his Philly cheese steak was all right, but it was just plain meat with a little slice of cheese at either end. His sub had no mayo, lettuce or tomato, just mediocre shaved beef and the two morsels of cheese. His coffee was OK and so was my tea, but they were $3.29 a cup. With tip, this pathetic meal cost almost $40. Never again.

Friendly service but never checked back on us. Ordered a burger with fries ($4.49 up charge). Ordered the burger medium and it was well done and barely warm. Fries were cold and dry… my toddler wouldn’t even eat his fries and he always eats his. Fork was dirty. Would have liked to bring this to the attention of the waiter/waitress… but they only came back to see if we needed a box.

Facility is very nice, large with many seats with a few counter seating.  This facility is very similar to “Brothers Diner” up the road. Somewhat difficult to get into, take road behind Wendy’s don’t turn into Wendy’s parking lot.  Coffee $3.29.  Extra charge for sour dough toast.  Staff friendly and helpfull. Facility is very attractive.  Menu photos as of June 2025.

A typical PA family style restaurant. It’s got a good menu, and executes it well. Portions are sizable. Too much so, at least for us. I can seriously tie on the food bag, but there was no way I was going to finish. We were traveling and visited on their first day with inside seating. It was handled well. Our temperatures were taken before we entered the restaurant, and booths were blocked off to ensure proper distancing. Staff was masked, and so were patrons, except at their tables. If you needed the bathroom, or to move from the table for any reason, mask on. I’ve been there before, so it was a good stop, and I was confident we’d be treated well. We weren’t disappointed.

Been dining here off and on for 5 years. They have had their ups and downs, but in the grand scheme it’s a great place to get a bite to eat. Also, if the owners are there, they’re definitely great with suggestions.

Worst experience I ever had. Started with the appetizer. I wanted my wings well done. They weren’t even close. They were literally dripping grease and the inside was bloody and awful. The chicken tenders tasted like they were heated in the microwave. My friend had the stuffed peppers. If you enjoy unseasoned food then you will enjoy that meal. It tasted like a boiled pepper with beef and rice. Bland. No flavor. Awful. Since we weren’t satisfied with our food, we tried dessert. Snickers cheesecake and a Oreo cheesecake. Literally tasted like a refrigerator . If you can imagine the smell of one, that’s how it tasted. Like thawed out freezer burnt cheesecake. We left with a stomach ache and heart burn. 0 stars. Do not recommend. The pictures from old reviews got us to come. I wish we would’ve did more research . Yuck.
