I’m mad that it took me this long to leave a review! I lived in Chestnuthill from 2020-2024 and i remember getting breakfast sandwhiches there before all our hikes and loving that the eggs were steamed which you don’t see often! So fluffy and delicious. The options here for a bread lover is heaven but my goodness, let me tell you about the queen of all the pastries that i heard for the first time while there. The Kouign Amann ! My wife told me about this once and when i finally tried it, i bought ten more to bring to my coworkers. I obsessed over this that it became the first “bread” or laminated dough i ever made myself. I have baker street as the pedestal 10 out of 10 for the Kouign Amann while mine was like a 7. I need to know the secret recipe Mr. Krabs! What is the filling they fill that dough up with? Please give this pastry a try if you ever visit. This town has hidden gems but Baker street is right up and center for everyone to see and not miss, so make sure to get your fill here when breakfast sounds like too much work haha. I only remembered to put a review as i eat a Kouign Amann that was no where near close to theirs and i reminisced on the good ol days. Can’t wait to come back

First visit here. Coffee is by Colombe and very good. Free iced water and tap water also. Very economical pricing for everything. Oat breakfast very appetizing and enjoyable. Breakfast burrito with black beans, egg and cheese was overly smoky for my taste and the wrap over dry and tough to cut and to eat the bottom surface. Nicely plated though and apart from the smokey flavors, a nice dish.

Baker Street Bread Co. Cafe & Bakery is a wonderful shop to get coffee and fresh artisan bread. I enjoyed my latte and breakfast BEC sandwich. The brioche bun was extremely soft too! They have premade soups and salads which looked good.
I will be back and recommend if you’re in the area stop by this cafe.

I just moved to chestnut hill & have been meaning to check this place out. I’m not gonna lie I was a bit weary when I saw the eggs for the breakfast sandwiches come steamed but OMG it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had… the eggs were perfectly cooked & moist!! Bacon cooked perfectly not chewy but not too crunchy. The brioche bread it came on was super soft & fresh. I also got a green juice which was fresh & delicious also. Lastly I got some fresh artisan sourdough to go, they offer to slice it for you which was so nice!! Love this local bakery my new go to!

Friendly staff and great eats. My egg, ham and cheese on a brioche bun breakfast sandwich was beyond tasty!!
Kinda Reminiscent of a pretzel bun.
The sandwich was well seasoned with simply salt/pepper, it soo soft and fluffy, honestly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. My vanilla latte was tasty as well.
I’ll definitely be back with my hubby to just sit and hang out. Outdoor seating is available. Perfect for the fall weather.

Great neighborhood spot. Come here regularly. A secret gem is the delicious gluten free everything bagel you can order toasted with butter or as part of a sandwich. Highly recommend!! And, yes, it gets crowded and sometimes the counter staff are distracted, but that’s just the reality of a popular local hub. We are very lucky to have this place in Chestnut Hill!

We got the tuna melt and the veggies Chile when we were here. We were looking for something that left us satisfied but not stuffed and their menu fits that need pretty well. They specialize in their breads, which I am sure you will notice as soon as you walk in. It was clean, not over done in decorations, and had a cozy feel. I really liked it 🙂

Overall, it was a good experience
Line when I arrived the moved quickly although the wait for food was long. Which was fine with me because my food was excellent. Seating was difficult and parking wasn’t easy.
