I called on a Friday asking for 36 custom made doughnuts for Sunday. The sweet baker was so professional and kind even though I know I gave her limited time. She made the most beautiful ocean themed doughnuts, even better than pinterest! They accept credit cards AND are kind to their customers. I am so happy they chose Elkhorn as their bakery home. We are very lucky!

We went at the end of the day and they still have a good assortment of pastries. The prices are good for a German based donut (vs bread) store. The staff are great to talk to and attentive. Handicap accessible building, but I would recommend going with someone that can get the door for you, they open towards you and are not automated at keast only 2 doors.

Picture this…3 people working, a short older lady, a younger blonde hair girl and a man with dark hair and a nose ring. Older woman is dealing with a cake order, young girl on the phone so we get helped by the man. He was very stand off-ish, boxed up our order and just walks away. Says nothing. Doesn’t cash us out. The younger blonde is off the phone at this point and helping another customer. When she is done with that order she comes to cash them out not even acknowledging us until we said we’re still waiting to be cashed out. What would you do in this situation being the young girl? Me, personally would cash us out herself but instead she says “oh I’ll go find him.” And proceeds to cash out the people that got there way later than us. Maybe their bakery is good, we wouldn’t know, but their customer service is lacking.
